For those of you who have ever looked at my profile, in my interests section you may have noticed that it states that I was once involved in professional wrestling. I was involved with the minor leagues of professional wrestling here in Minnesota for about 3 years,and I loved it so much I can't put it into words. The biggest organization I ever worked for was called The World All Star Wrestling Alliance which was owned by Ken Patera. A former Olympic power lifter,and WWF intercontinental champion. When I first went to work for Ken he was in partnership with a man named Adnan Al-Kaissyand one of the very first in ring interviews I ever did was with Adnan,and the wrestler he was managing Wild Bill Irwin. I was very nervous,and Irwin was making me even more nervous by interrupting me,and poking me in the chest. He wasn't doing it to be a jackass, he was just doing it to get the crowd going,and to have a little fun with me. Adnan I'm sure could tell I was nervous,and when the interview was over he leaned into me,and said it's o.k, and gave me a little pat on the lower back. I had several conversations with Adnan that evening about the old days of wrestling,and he seemed like a very genuinely nice guy. That was the last chance I got to talk to him because he, and Patera split ways from a business stand point after that night, but I will always remember how nice he was to the new guy. This is Adnan's story one of triumph,and freedom. Adnan went to junior high with a young man named Saddam Hussien, they were not close friends, but did know one another, when High School rolled around they went to different High schools, but would run into each other from time to time. Adnan was very involved with sports, soccer, and amature wrestling while Saddam was already involved with the Baath party. After High School Adnan came to the united states and went to college,and continued his amature wrestling, when college finished he became a professional wrestler. The promoters felt that Adnan looked like a Native American, so they called him Billy White Wolf,and later paired him with Chief Jay Strongbow (who was actually an Italian named Joe Scarpa) They were extremely popular,and became the WWE (then called WWWF) tag team champions,and held those titles for about 10 months a fairly long title reign for a tag team. Adnan was injured (by future business partner Ken Patera),and they had to forfit the titles. After recovery Adnan as Billy White Wolf wrestled in Hawaii for a brief time,and then decided to go back to Iraq to visit his family. His former School mate Saddam Huessein was now the President of that country, and after appearing on television talking about wrestling, and America he was approached by government officials, and told the President would like to speak with him. Saddam greeted Adnan with a hug, and kiss. Then they talked about America, and wrestling for a while. Saddam then informed Adnan that he could not go back to America, and that he would wrestle there in Baghdad,and Adnan was also made the head of the sports authority for youth. Adnan basically set up a professional wrestling organization in Iraq, with Adnan as the heavyweight champion. They brought in top stars from all over the world, I have seen old wrestling footage of Adnan wrestling in Baghdad, and they had crowds there that were truly unbelievable there was literally 10's of thousands of people at these events. One of the most talked about stories of all time is when Adnan was scheduled to wrestle Andre the Giant in Baghdad. It was always a unspoken rule that Andre was not asked to lose, For one it just wouldn't be believable to have a guy 6 feet tall,and 280 pounds pin a guy who was 7 feet tall,and 400 pounds. And not only that,but Andre was incredibly powerful,and he didn't have to let anyone do what he didn't want them to do. So Andre was just not asked to lose by the promoters. I've heard several different versions of this story,but according to Adnan in a recent interview I just saw, they story went something like this. Andre was already in the ring, and when Adnan came down to the ring he shook hands with Saddam, and Saddam pulled him to the side,and said this man is a wimp, and Adnan agrees with him,because he knew enough to always agree with Saddam. Then Saddam pulled back his coat a bit to expose his solid gold pistol to Adnan, and tells him that I will empty every bullet into his head if he hurts you,and I will send him back to France in a wooden box. After getting into the ring Andre asked Adnan what did the president say to you, and Adnan said he says you are a wimp, and then as they wrestled Adnan informed Andre that Andre could not win the match or Saddam would kill him. It was a best 2 out of 3 falls match,and Andre lost 2 straight falls. Adnan was given a palace to live in, millions of dollars, cars you name it he was given it by Saddam. As it's been talked about many times Saddam was very paranoid about anyone who was looked at with fondness from the Iraqi public. He considered them a threat, and most ended up dead. So Adnan started to hear rumors that he was a marked man, because he had become to popular among the Iraqi people. Adnan's brother was a Judge in Saddam's court system,and he too had heard these rumors. His brother told him your family loves you, and you do what you want, but we think you should go. So in the middle of the night Saddam had his chauffeur drive him to Kuwait with one suitcase full of cloths, and he fled to America. He ended up in Minnesota working for Vern Gagne's American Wrestling Association as a manager Sheik Adan Al-Kaissie was one of the most hated people in the history of the A.W.A. He remained in the A.W.A for most of the rest of his career until 1991 when Sgt. Slaughter went to the WWE (Then the WWF) The American hero Slaughter had now turned his back on America, because he felt that they had grown to soft. Slaughter was got getting over with the fans the way the WWF had hoped so Adnan, an Iraqi was brought in as his manager during the height of the Gulf war. He was know known as General Adnan, and even resembled Saddam a bit with his military uniform. Adnan,and Slaughter were so hated by the fans that they received constant death threats against them. Slaughter won the WWF Heavyweight title, and then lost the title to Hulk Hogan at the following Wrestlemania, after his lose Adnan turned on Slaughter as a way for Slaughter to save face with the fans before he retired. Adnan never said a bad word about Saddam or wrote a book about his life while Saddam was in power, because he knew that Saddam would kill his family members still in Iraq if he did. It wasn't until Saddam's capture that Adnan started work on his recent book. I have not read the book yet, but I have read some excerpts, and seen a few interviews with Adnan since his book came out. His book is called "The Sheik of Baghdad" and it is truly a inspiration to us here in America about how someone who overcame a dictatorship to become a success on his own terms. In a recent interview Adnan said his dream is to travel back to Iraq to have his American family meet his Iraqi family. Until next time. The Angry American

Happy belated holidays,and a look ahead to the New Year

I was without the Internet for a brief time so haven't been able to post. I was trying to save some money for our Christmas trip to Louisiana this year so I cut some corners here,and there. We drove to Louisiana again this time which I think I've made up my mind that I am never doing that again. 1300 miles each way,and lots of rain on the way home was enough to push me over the edge this time. It was nice to have the extra spending money while we were there since driving is about $600.00 cheaper then flying,but I don't think the extra money is worth it. I got some very cool pictures of the southern most part of the state while I was there. Lots of stuff still messed up from Katrina in that area which I'll share in one of my upcoming posts. Now about some current events going on. Of course my personal favorite the hanging of Saddam Hussein. We left Louisiana on Saturday morning,and I didn't even realize until late that night when we were in Missouri that he was hung that morning. Of course the conspiracy theory nuts have already started with the rants that his hanging was faked. What can you do with these people other then shake your head,and smile? The strange thing I can't figure out is that I've heard people who say we need to pull our troops out of Iraq because they are in a civil war are the same ones saying that the U.S. should have stopped the Saddam execution. Make up your mind,do you want us to interfere in their government or not? You can't have it both ways. It also seems like a sure thing that the minimum wage is going to be raised.Waitresses,and bartenders around the country are celebrating,but since the rest of the country makes more then minimum including McDonald's employees it doesn't seem to make much sense to me. But I'm sure that someone who started a small business,and hired high school kids at minimum wage won't mind raising his prices to pay his employees. As if it wasn't hard enough for small business to compete with corporate America we have to make it even harder. When I started working in 1986 minimum wage was $3.35 an hour,and in less then 20 years it will now be more then doubled. Which is far,far beyond an adjustment for inflation. This new raise is just much to big,and is really going to end up hurting a lot of small businesses. The minimum wage is not where someone who is say my age of 36 should be making. And if you are my age,and still make minimum wage maybe you need to look at your choices you've made in your life time. The minimum wage is for small businesses that hire high school kids,and for waitress and bartender jobs that offer tips. It is not a living wage,and I don't know one single person who works full time over the age of 25 who makes minimum wage. The whole minimum wage raise is just stupid, and is not going to do anything to help families or small business in this country. How can Cindy Sheehan still get press time,and this story doesn't?

I noticed on Yahoo today that Moonbat Queen Cindy Sheehan has made the news again when she went to court on a trespassing charge,blah,blah,blah...who cares. What I'm wondering is how is it that her stories continue to make the news,but when an American soldier is spit on in a airport by another American citizen it doesn't even get one frickin line? Some of you may have heard the story by now ,if you did I doubt you heard it by a major news source. I searched for the story on line,and only found around 3 actual news websites that carried the story. The rest is being done by conservative blogs. One of the few to carry the story is www.syracuse.com. Mainly because it happened there. Here is what they had on their site.... Woman accused of spitting in soldier's face A Syracuse woman was charged after a Fort Drum soldier accused her of spitting on him without provocation at Hancock International Airport, Syracuse police said.Lauren Maggi, 35, of 256 Thurber St., was charged with second-degree harassment after the Nov. 22 incident, according to a police report.Jason Jones, 21, told police a woman he did not know walked up to him near the United Airlines ticket counter, asked him if he was a Fort Drum solider and, when he responded that he was, spat in his face.A second soldier on the scene supported Jones’ accusation, police said. Maggi offered no explanation for her conduct, police said. She could not be reached for comment tonight. I am so pissed that not one single major media outlet has done a story on this, they'll report that Brittany Spears let her vagina show,and that Nicole Richie got a DWI,but somehow some anti war liberal puke who spits in the face of someone who is willing to die for their country is not important. The whole line of I support the troops,but not the war is just a line of bullshit. Go to Yahoo answers,and see all the anti troop questions on there. Calling them war criminals,and baby killers. These are American citizens saying these things about our troops. Lets make an example of one of these people. Lauren Maggi's address is right there,don't do anything illegal,but tell her what you think of her,and if 10 or 20 pounds of cow manure happen to fall into a box with her address on it so be it. Now of course I wouldn't condone such a thing. I support the war protesters, but not the protest. Maybe it's time that those of us who do support the troops tell those like Maggi, or John Kerry that this type of treatment of American Soldiers is not acceptable. Sometimes we can't be nice guys,and we have to just out,and out be inconsiderate assholes. It seems that's the only thing that inconsiderate assholes understand is receiving the same treatment in return. I do apologize for my language in this post. I usually don't swear as much in my posts,but the fact is that I am pissed off that the media has no outrage about this,but I am still hearing about a drunken Mel Gibsons anti-jewish rant that he has appoligised for months ago,and I don't think there are any of us who can say that there isn't something that they reget they did or said in a drunken state. And I'm pissed of that they don't cover this story,but the cover every damn thing that happens in the life of Cindy Sheehan. Stabbleizing Iraq

It's been A long time since I posted last, for many reasons. Most of it is just have been feeling burnt out on to many levels. I have put a lot of thought to Iraq lately,and this is my opinion on what The U.S. Needs to do to stabilize Iraq. One try to get Saudi Arabia more involved with the new Iraqi government,by getting them more involved it may make Iran more leery of dealing with Iraq. Many parts of Iraq are very stable,but Baghdad is what we see on television every night,and that is what is the least stable right now. Every single road coming into Baghdad must be secured with the most extreme measure. Stop each,and every car going into Baghdad,and search each vehicle ,and individual that includes police vehicles. This will stop the flow of new explosives that may becoming into that area. Start offering rewards on Baghdad television for information. I'm sure there are many people who know about insurgent groups,but are not involved with them,and do not want to say anything about them out of fear,but the promise of cash,and a new beginning may loosen up their thoughts a little. Iraq has been compared to Vietnam many times. I've even heard people say that didn't Bush learn anything from Vietnam....we need to bring our troops home now. Which is the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a long time. If Vietnam taught us anything I would hope it would be that we finish the job before we come home. We didn't finish the job in Korea or Vietnam, and years later we are still paying for it. We can not afford to do this with Iraq. Iran is sitting there like a vulture just waiting for us to pull out,so they can go in with a smile on their face,and an extended hand take over that country with economics,and then put the Khomeini's in power with a government overthrow. If we leave before Iraq is ready to take care of itself it will happen. Iraq's biggest need is to be able to take care of itself financially. If it can do that they will be allright,but in some places if security is a problem the financial system is shot. Look how our financial system got screwed up after 9-11. It took a god 9 months to a year before people started to feel comfortable with our financial system again. Imagine if we had attacks everyday what it would do. Well that about does it for me. Most people who know me will tell you that I have been known to pull a prank or practical joke from time to time, if it's waking up someone with a soup kettle,and a soup spoon or if it's leaving goldfish in places that they normally shouldn't be I love the reaction that people have when you pull one on them. Just today I saw a great Idea for a prank that will only work if it's done by many people. I think we should all be involved with this, you won't be able to see the reaction from others, but it will give you a feeling of personal satisfaction . Here's how it works. Go to your local store,and buy the most religious Christmas card that you can find, on the inside of the card write a little note that is also very religous, or tell them that it's Merry Christmas. Not Happy Holidays now mail it to ACLU 125 Broad Street18th Floor New York, NY 10004. They will have to open each one because it could contain a check, so imagine if they now recieved an extra 200,000 cards at christmas time. Heck don't stop with one card, go to a dollar store,and buy a whole box for a dollar then mail them all It will only cost you around $10.00 to buy the cards,and mail them all. What Bush must do in his last two years in office

I was never a big fan of Donald Rumsfeld, I always thought that Rumsfeld would have made a better Secretary of State while Colon Powell would have made a better defense secretary, but with Rumsfeld's resignation last week (some news sources are calling it a firing, but it was officially a resignation) Bush in my opinion is in a situation in which he can not back down from the Democrats. Just today Harry Reid said that troop withdrawl should begin in Iraq withen the next few months. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20061113/ap_on_go_pr_wh/us_iraq And the Democrats will be taking power of Congress at the beginning of the year. Bush has got to take his comments directly to the American people. Anytime Bush is willing to speak in front of the Camera's they will be there to film it. He has got to hold a press conference everyday if needed. Right now they are still talking about bi-partisan b.s. but if they were really interested in that Reid would have said let's look at when we can get the troops home,not we want them home in the next few months. Come January they are gonna come at Bush hard,and unrelenting on Iraq, Bush must bring up past mistakes we made in history with Vietnam,and Korea,and not finishing the job, and the problems we now face because of it. He also needs to show,not talk about, but show the positive things going on in that country. The news doesn't care about new school books for Iraqi children,and they are not going to report that type of story so Bush has got to bring those stories to the people himself. And when Bush does the next budget,and the Democratic congress starts tearing it apart he has got to go on television with that budget in his hand,and show the American people what is going on . If he does not do this his approval rate will drop further, the media is going to paint the democrats as fighting back against Bush's bad economics plan,and his disasterous war in Iraq. The war in Iraq has been one of the most succesfull wars the U.S. has ever been in. More Americans are shot on the streets of California each year then what we are losing in Iraq. I can't think of a war we've been involved with in which more then three and a half years we've only lost 3000 soldiers. Now of course any is to many,but that is what happens in war. My Tribute to a veteran,and a great Republican

I was hoping to be able to make this post before midnight,but I didn't know If I would get home on time or not. There are three people in my life that I feel influenced me the most on my political beliefs. The first was my dad who now that I'm older leans much more towards the democrat end. The Second was my gradfather on my moms side,and the last was my Uncle France Moris, my mom's brother. Who was known to everyone as "Sonny". He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1963, and I couldn't help but think of him on this day that we honor our veterans. It was a fairly sunny day this morning, but a cold November wind. Some parts of the state had snow today,but it was pretty nice where we were when we layed Uncle Sonny to rest this morning. He died in his sleep on Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning from a hole in his aorta. He didn't believe in Doctor's, but if he would have had regular check ups it probably would have been caught,and he could have lived another 10 years. He thought he had the flu for the past week or so, but in reality his chest was filling with blood. He went to bed early on tuesday night because he didn't feel good,and never woke up. The only thing that brings me comfort is the fact that he always said I hope I die in my sleep. I don't want to be sick for years or be in a nursing home. He had survived colon cancer about 15 years ago,and had seemed to be in very good health. So his death came as a big shock to everyone. I thought alot about him the past few days,and what he meant to me. When I was younger I used to work on my grandpa's farm during the summer,and uncle Sonnys farm was just a few miles down the road. He tought me the right way to stack hay on a hay wagon (believe it or not there is a trick to it), and when hay season was over by god let's have some beers. My political views were strongly influenced by grandpa, and uncle Sonny during those summer months. They were both republican farmers in Minnesota, which in the 80's was about as common as a drunken Amish. In the 80's local farms around them were going belly up left and right,many of them were their friends and neighbors, but they stayed a float because they didn't go to the bank,and borrow $100,000 for a new tractor. They bought good conditioned used tractors without a loan,and then with hard work kept those tractors,and equiptment running. It seemed like they were always fixing on grandpa's haybailer, but it was still cheaper to fix it with your own hands then to buy a new one. Grandpa died 16 years ago,and if I'm not mistaken Uncle Sonny still has that same haybailer. They didn't want government handouts. They wanted to work hard to get ahead. Uncle Sonny also worked in town at 3M for 25 years. He was a headstrong republican, but never put down someone who felt differntly about politics, and would always hear someone else's side of the story, and then say yeah I guess that's true too,and would never put down their opinion. I don't think I ever remember him putting someone down. He once had a nieghbor named Kenny who had some obvious mental disabilities, and Uncle Sonny was his friend, I assume his only true friend. Kenny had some friends who took advantage of him over the years, but Uncle Sonny would say come on Kenny you can help us bail some hay, Kenny wasn't worth to much as a worker,but Uncle Sonny would give him a little money,and a hot meal at the end of the day,and all the pop he could drink. Some of the other local farmers would chase Kenny off when he wanted to help,but Uncle Sonny would try to give him a job he couldn't screw up,and couldn't get hurt, but it wasn't out of pitty, he truly liked Kenny. If I had to describe him in one word it would be PROUD. He was proud of what he had accomplished in his life, and he was proud of his children, and what they had accomplished, He was always talking about what this one was doing,and what that one was doing. His son in law meant as much to him as if he was his own son. and He was proud to have served his country,and looked at his days in the military with fond memories. He loved to talk about his granddaughter and his little buddy,and share stories about them with that distinctive smile,and a incredible laugh that just made you smile when you heard it. He was proud of his marriage of 41 years to my aunt Tootie his "Toots" I never once heard him say a bad word about his wife,and now that they were retired he was finally able to spend the time with her that he always wanted to. One thing that I will always reget is the fact that last weekend when I went up north to go deer hunting I was going to stop in at his farm on the way up,and I didn't because I was running a little behind. I was only 2 miles away from his house at one point,and I din't stop in to see him one last time. If I only knew I would never see him again I would have stopped to hear his laugh just one more time. He was my godfather, a veteran, a republican, a father, son, brother, father, farmer, grandpa, husband , and the Polka King of Moran Township, I'm sure that tonight all the radio's in heaven are turned to KASM, and he's teaching them how to polka. He's burried 20 feet from my grandparents,and I bet he's sitting at the table with them eating braunswiegert. I will never forget all the things he taught me about life,and how he influenced me, and I will never be able to look at veterans day the same way again without thinking of him. So Uncle Sonny thanks for what you taught me about life,and thanks for everything you did for the world while you were with us,and thanks for being a veteran.

My prediction outcomes

Well according to all polls here in Minnesota Pawlenty, Bachmann,and Kennedy were all picked to lose. My predictions based on the number of political signs around the state seemed much closer then the polls conducted. First My prediction on the Pawlenty/Hatch race was off by 10%, and the polls were off by 6%, but I did pick the correct winner the polls did not. Next was the Kennedy/ Klobuchar race I did agree with the polls that Kennedy would lose,but they were closer on their percentage they said about 20% I said 12% it was closer to 20% so the polls beat me on that one,but I did pick it right . Next was the Bachmann/ Wetterling race in which up until 2 days before the race wetterling was picked by 10% then the polls switched it to Bachmann 2 days before the election to Bachmann by 2%. I picked Bachmann by 9%, and she won by 8%. So that's three for me,and one for the pollsters. Not to bad for a Polack. It was interesting to see that here in Minnesota there were many Republicans were able to beat the Dems in local races. That to me is a big surprise considering that Minnesota is very,very liberal. Heck we even picked Jimmy Carter against Reagan, but it does seem to me that it has started to change over the past decade and slowly we are becoming more conservative, especialy in rural areas. The most shocking race in Minnesota was The fact that state senator,and senate majority leader Dean Johnson who had been in power since 1982 was voted out of office. Johnson started his carrer as a Republican, but switched to the DFL in 1998,but remained very popular in his area even after his party switch, but last summer was involved in a situation in which Johnson told fellow clergy (Johnson is a Lutheran minister) that he was told by a member of the Minnesota Supreme court that they would not overturn a Minnesota statute defining a marriage as one man,and one woman. His conversation was recorded by one of the fellow clergy members,and when the tape surfaced the members of the supreme court denied it happened,and Johnson under an ethics investigation apologized for embellishing the story. There was also some double talk on his stance on abortion. Johnson only lost by I believe 2%,but even a month ago it seemed as he was unbeatable due to his popularity in his area. Still not a complete win for Pawlenty so I won't call it yet, but looks like the Democrats took huge numbers nation wide. Which really shouldn't be much of a surprise to be honest. History has shown time, and time again that whichever party is in power with their President also in power will lose it during midterms,but we can always hope, and fight to remain in power. There is always a rebellion withen the swing voters, and independents. The next few months will be very interesting, right now everyone is talking about bi-partisan, and let's all join hands and sing, but withen the next 6 weeks the sh#t will hit the fan, mark my words. I am actually glad to see one Democrat win. I love the fact that they tried to make an example of Lieberman for daring to go against the grain,and support the war in Iraq,and then they told him that if you didn't get the nomination you shouldn't run for re-election, but he came back and won. Now by no means am I a Lieberman fan,but he did prove that the republicans losing had nothing to do with the war in Iraq.

Get off your ass,and vote! And my predictions for the election

I just got home from the first weekend of deer hunting. (I got one,but it's not worth bragging about) I will probably go back next weekend to help the rest of the party,and do some butchering of whatever has been shot. I've been reminding everybody I know (except democrats) to make sure and vote. Just kidding about not wanting democrats to vote. I don't want to hear any excuses if they loose. I also watched the political signs on my way up to the deer hunting cabin to watch for trends in how votes will go in different areas. When Jesse Ventura ran for Governor I predicted he would win a week before the election based entirely on the number of political signs for him across the state that I had seen over the month before the election. Ventura did not have a big campaign budget, so most of the signs you saw supporting him were homemade signs people made themselves, the polls said Ventura would get smoked by at least 25%. I told my roommate at the time that before the election if Ventura was still 25% below in the Twin Cities areas he could still win the state by getting 70% of the rest of the states votes,well the polls were even wrong about the Twin Cities, Ventura won most of that area as well. Here are my predictions for this years Minnesota elections,and why I predict them this way. Give me 3% either direction. First the biggest is the Governors race with incumbent Republican Tim Pawlenty against Attorney General Democrat Mike Hatch, and independence party cadidate Peter Hutchinson.Polls have Hatch leading by 5%. I say Pawlenty by 11%. Again I am going by the number of political signs ,and also the fact that Hatch has dropped the ball on two occasions over the past week. First his running mate,the person who is going to be the second in command,and could take over if something would happen to Hatch was asked about E-85 which is 85% ethanol 15% gas,and is big business here in Minnesota,had no clue about what E-85 was. This to me is just complete ignorance! The fact that someone in Minnesota doesn't even know what E-85 is is like asking someone if the know what milk tastes like,and they say Milk? What's Milk? Then when Hatch was asked about it by a reporter he called the reporter a Republican whore,and just a few days earlier called the owner of a local television station a republican hack in a phone conversation. Many people remember Ventura's feud's with the media,and don't want to go thru that again. Next is the U.S. Senate seat that was given up by Mark Dayton. It has Republican Mark Kennedy against Democrat Amy Klobuchar. Polls are saying Klobachar by 20%. To be honest I don't care much for Kennedy, but I think Klobuchar will be a complete disaster as a senator, and as much as I hate to say it I think she will beat Kennedy, but I think it will be about 12%. Next is Republican Michele Bachmann against Democrat Patty Wetterling for U.S. Congress. Wetterling ran for office two years ago,and lost,but I voted for her at that time. She ran a completely clean campaign,and never ran one smear ad. Her husband used to be my chiropractor at one time,and they really seem like nice people,they are known well in Minnesota due to the fact that their son Jacob was abducted by gunpoint while riding his bike home from the convenience store,and has never been found,but unlike two years ago Patty Wetterling has now become a politician,she is doing what she's told to do by the Democratic party,and she's not herself. She's running a terrible smear campaign,and also in my opinion is using the disappearance of her son to get elected ,by using the whole Mark Foley situation in her early ads. Which I found pretty disgusting to use her child's disappearance almost 20 years ago to compare Bachmann as a republican to Foley. Also about 3 weeks ago Bachmann was at a church service in which the minister said he gave her the churches endorsement,which of course is a big no-no,but at the same time a paid member of the Wetterling campaign was trying to volunteer for the Bachmann campaign,and was asking about an ad that was not yet released by the Bachmann campaign, Well guess which story made bigger headlines? You guessed it the religious one. Now here's where the polls really have been messed up. At this time last week polls were saying Wetterling by over 10% now they're saying Bachmann by 2-3%. Which tells me that Bachmann is doing much better then they wanted to admit,and now they have to cover themselves in case she wins. I am going with Bachmann by 9%. Check back to see how close I was when all the votes are in,and either way make sure you stop,and vote. A non-vote is just as good as a vote for impeachment of Bush, because that is what will happen if the Democrats take control. The Angry American

I have not written as much as I'd like lately, and probably won't be posting as much as I'd like for a while since this seems to be my busy time of the year. I recently finished my wife's kitchen hutch which I did some on it earlier in the year, but couldn't procrastinate any longer
since I want to park my car in the garage this winter, I also need to clean some more things out of the garage before the snow flies. My wife's hutch was very time consuming. I put an antique finish on it. So first I had to strip the old finish off of it, then white wash the entire hutch, next I had to sand down the edges and other high spots to bare wood. Then I had to put stain over the entire hutch to give the bare wood spots an aged look. My guess is the entire process took about 60 to 70 hours. Were also trying to get ready for Halloween around here which for us is a big holiday. Both my wife,and myself go all out for Halloween, It will take me at least 5 to 6 hours just to set up the yard for one day. Lots of very cool stuff. It's fun to watch a kid who's about 3 come right up,and get candy,but their 10 year old sibling is to scared to walk up the sidewalk. I also do extravagant pumpkin carvings I will carve 6 pumpkins this year which will take probably about an hour per pumpkin. Then when Halloween is over I have to start getting ready for deer hunting, I still haven't went out to the rifle range to check, and see if my scope is on or not, and I only have a few weeks left to so. I also volunteered for the re-elect Pawlenty for Governor campaign,and got a call today to do some stuff for them, so maybe after the election I will have a little time to breath before Christmas. If I still drank I'd go get a stiff drunk on right about now. Oh yeah were also getting our house switched from fuses to breakers, and sometime before Christmas I want to build a room in the basement for the ferrets to live in rather then letting them run around the whole basement. They're a curious little animal, and can get into just about anything, and love to play all day long, so they need a little bit more of a controlled environment for themselves to keep them out of trouble. By the way did you hear the world will be out of natural resources by the year 2050. Yep according to the World Wildlife Fund we'll all be dead by 2050 so I plan on getting a second,and third mortgage on my house,and racking up my credit cards because we'll all be dead soon. No more running for Dick and Jane

I'm sure most of us have at least heard of the Dick,and Jane books or may have even read them even if they were way before my time I have still read a few of them. They had very simple reading See Dick run, run Dick run. See Jane Run. run Jane run, but it seems school has changed since Dick,and Jane were around. In today's society of correctness,and over protection they would not be able to run anymore. Willett Elementary School in Attleboro Massachusetts has now banned tag, as well as touch football,and other unsupervised chasing games. http://www.wgal.com/news/10102602/detail.html all I can say is what in the fricking hell! From one point I do understand that the school is afraid that they could get sued, and that to is part of the problem. We've become so damn sue happy in this country, also the school could avoid that with permission slips. Isn't that sad that in today's day,and age we have to get a permission slip signed to let our kids play tag. TAG FOR THE LOVE OF GOD! They're not talking about full contact Football they're talking about tag, and touch football. I'm not that old,but when I was in school at recess we'd play a game called smear. Which meant whoever had the football everyone tried to tackle. One kid running while 30 other kids tried to tackle him,and when he got tackled after he got up he'd throw the ball into the air,and whoever caught it would be the next one to get smeared. In the winter time after the snowfall they would plow the snow in to a huge pile that was also the length of the school in the center of the school yard. I am not joking when I say this pile would reach 15 feet high or maybe a little more, well there was always one section set aside for kids who just wanted to play in the snow,but the rest was for playing king of the mountain. That means pushing each other down the hill then get to the bottom, climb back up, and push someone else off. We used to beat the hell out of each other playing smear, and king of the mountain,and once in a while someone would get hurt, bloody nose, black eye, kids crying....IT WAS GREAT. Now they can't even play tag. This is not the first school to do this,but it is the one that's most recent right now.One parent had this to say "she's witnessed a lot of "near collisions" between children and supports anything that makes the playground safer." Near collisions she says. Not collisions,but near collisions. I wonder if she saw a near collision while driving her kids to school if she would decide to home school them to make them safer? In my lifetime I've witnessed,and been involved in maybe close to 100 near collisions by automobiles. I think tomorrow I will go down to the D.M.V. and turn in my drivers license, I can always get a bike. NO wait I've also witnessed near collisions with bikes so I guess that's out, maybe walking, but I do seem to remember people getting ran over while walking so I guess that's out too. When will it stop? Let kids be kids, let them play games while they are still young enough to do it. Let them fall down,and skin their knee,and they will get up, and dust themselves off, and do it again. If your kid rips their pants, and gets a cut, don't call the school,and complain. Patch their pants,and put a band-aid on their cut. Let them run, jump, fall, and do all the things that kids do. Let them be care free before they have a mortgage,and a job. Protect your kids so no one can hurt them or take advantage of them, but don't take away their childhood because you don't want them to get a skinned knee or bump on their head. The World Must Disarm North Korea NOW!

It's rare for me to post twice in one day,and I haven't posted anything about North Korea yet, But just as I was getting ready to go to bed this came across the news,and I thought I'd be one of the first to comment about it. Just this morning The North Korean foreign minister released this staement that was carried on the official Korean Central News Agency.
The United Nations' effectively declared war on the country when it imposed sanctions for the North's nuclear test. North Korea wants "peace but is not afraid of war," The
U.N. Security Council' "resolution cannot be construed otherwise than a declaration of a war," the ministry said, calling the sanctions "a product of the U.S. hostile policy toward" North Korea.
The ministry warned that if anyone used the U.N. resolution to infringe on the country's sovereignty, North Korea "will deal merciless blows at him through strong actions." One of two things must happen here to put North Korea in it's place. It's non friendly neighbors ( Japan,South Korea) need to do something from a military standpoint. Which Japan has no military option, but South Korea would probably be willing to allow Japanese to join their military for an invasion, but the most logical option is for China to tell Kill Jong Ill "listen knock this shit off or you will deal with us! China has the ability to stop this thing in it's tracks,and I beleive that China may. They have been allies with North Korea for some time, but I doubt that they like North Korea's attitude of we'll do what we want,and anyone who dares to oppose us will be dealt with. China is a communist country that likes things to be quiet,and done quietly, and I am sure they have asked North Korea to keep it quiet over the years. I wouldn't be to surprised to wake up one day soon to find out that North Korea is part of China now,and no one knows where Kim Jong Ill is. We can forget about any help from Russia, Putin will blow smoke, but like with Iraq he will go behind our backs and break the U.N. resolutions. With the world view of the U.S. right now there is no way in hell we will become militaraly involved, but the rest of the world, mostly Asia had better wake up soon. I mean just read those comments again. They are saying anyone who follows the resolutions has declared war on them,and they will fight. China also accounts for almost one half of all goods imported from North Korea,and imports about 500 million to North Korea, but most importantly China provides 90% of all oil to North Korea. Make no mistake China has the ability to stop this problem with North Korea with just the snap of their fingers.

Also it will only make Iran more bold,and I know China does not want Iran to have them. After these comments today the whole world needs to either act from these threats or put pressure on China to force North Korea into ditching the nuclear program,and possibly replace Kim Jong Ill as leader. If one of these options are not done we will have a North Korea nuke attack somewhere in the world withen the next 5 years. Kim Jong Ill is the biggest threat the world has had since Hitler, and Iran is just watching to see what they should do next. TRAITOR GETS ONLY 28 MONTHS

I'd be smiling to if I committed treason against my country and only got sentenced to 28 months in prison. I heard part of the story on the news tonight so I looked on the web for some more of this story. Now I don't care that she defended him, but after he was imprissioned she released a statement for him to members of his organization. The Yahoo story leaves out much of the important information. They make it sound as if she just released a statement to the media. This statement that was released was funneled thro several people who then gave it to his organization, and it is also several messages not just one. Prosecuting attorneys asked for a sentence of 30 years the judge gave her 28 months because she has always been a upstanding member of society, and was diagnosed with breast cancer, and her lawyers argued she would die in prison. GOOD! Let her ass rot in prison! Instead she got 28 months, and can stay out of jail while she appeals her case. So basically she will never serve a day in jail for conspiring with terrorists. Talk about a travesty in justice. I've always been an upstanding member of society. What do you think would happen if I did that? I'd be in jail for 30 years that's what. This treasonous peace of shit belongs in prison! She doesn't even have the courage to admit any wrong in this case. If she would have said hey you know what I thought those messages were for his family members, and I was duped by the whole thing, but she didn't because she knew what they were for, and she never admitted any wrong for it. DEFICIT DROPS! Why is this not a major news story?

Just today as I went to my Yahoo home page I noticed a story that caught my eye. Mainly because it's a major story, and secondly because it is not being talked about in the mainstream media. If you look at the past 6 years of the Bush administration it is very easy to see why such a huge deficit occurred. First we had a huge financial lose when 9-11 happened many of the large New York banks were knocked out of commission for a brief time. Then we invaded two countries, if you look at a history of military spending you'll see that during the Clinton administration the military had record budget cuts, many experienced military officers were forced into early retirement so we could save more money it was better to pay a retirement for someone who retired after 15 years then wait until they were in for 20. So when we went into Afghanistan, and Iraq we now had to fill those huge gaps where money had been taken from. The fact is we didn't have the tanks, planes, jeeps, and other equiptment we once had because of these previous cuts, and we now had to get the money to pay for this equiptment we needed in a time of war. So this huge deficit was born, now with tax cuts we as Americans have spent more which means less lay-offs, and lower unemployment, and it has slowly knocked down some of this deficit, Also tax receipts are up 12% this year for a total of $253 billion which is proof that tax cuts put more money in peoples pockets,and if people have more money in their pocket they will spend it which brings up tax receipts, but of course the Democrats are stll not happy about it. Though today's estimates for 2006 are not as pessimistic as some earlier estimates, it is clear that the budget remains on the wrong track," said top budget panel Democrat John Spratt Jr. of South Carolina. "The Congressional Budget Office and even the Bush administration are estimating that deficits will be even larger next year" The wrong track? Unemployment is at 4.6 %, The Dow Jones hit all time record highs this past week. Small business as well as corporate tax profits are both up, what else does this stupid bastard want done? Now I will admit the deficit needs to come down more, and it will if we stay on the same track. We also need to start worrying about social security, Bush tried to do something with it, It may have not been the right idea I don't know for sure,but the difference he came up with something. The Democrats have never came up with a plan to do anything about the looming Social Security problem, well except for let's just ignore it until it goes away, which I wouldn't say is much of a plan. Now of course the Mark Foley story is important , but isn't the fact that the deficit is coming down, and the economy is in great shape a major story? I bet if the deficit would have jumped $68 billion instead of coming down we would hear more about it. Instead the media would rather report stories that belong in the National Enquirer. So regardless of what the media, and the democrats say we in America we are still strong, and the economy is rebounding, and booming, and once again the democrats can't stand the fact that America is strong, and just can't find one damn thing positive to say about our country. It seems everytime I open the newspaper, or click on my homepage news section there is one story or another with some liberal saying that either Bush, Cheney Rumsfeld, or all three should resign or be impeached. So lets take a look at those options for a minute. First lets start with the one in the public the most right now Donald Rumsfeld. Some have said that all the problems in Iraq are Rumsfelds fault, Now I'm sure that some of the problems are from decisions that Rumsfeld had made, but what strikes me as strange is that the people pointing their finger at Rumsfeld are people who are no longer in Iraq. Why is it we don't hear from the commanding officers in Iraq saying we are being held back by Rumsfeld. It's only from people who are no longer there,and may have wanted more power themselves when the were in Iraq,and now have an ax to grind. Another person who has said things recently about Rumsfeld is former Secretary of State,and military man Colon Powell. I have a ton of respect for Powell, and his ability's, and opinions, But if Powell truly felt that the war in Iraq was heading in the wrong direction why didn't he stay on as Secretary of State,and try to change the way things were done? Also many claims have been made about mistakes Cheney made, again I am not saying that it isn't possible that mistakes were made, but the liberals have put Bush in position in which he can not come out, and say hey you know what we made some mistakes, and we are making changes. If he does they will call for his resignation. Same thing if Rumsfeld really has screwed up like they are saying if Rumsfeld or Cheney were to resign the liberals would say hey these are your guys who screwed up so we want you to resign. Bush is in a no win situation if he says hey we did screw up a few times they will ask him to resign, and if no mistakes were made they will say he's lying about what's really going on, and the "Bush spin machine" is just blowing smoke so he should also resign. Instead of being the finger pointing, hypocritical, whinners they are known for why doesn't one of them have the guts to say, hey you know what who cares about the past let's start over right now, and get things in Iraq on the right path what can we do to help,and what's the plan? That's sounds great, but maybe we should try this. Hey since I also voted for us to go into Iraq maybe I should quit bitching about it, and help out. But of course that won't happen. Instead they will continue to say everything except for a booming economy is due to Bush. they read the same Iraq intelligence,and voted to go to Iraq, but it's Bush's fault he lied about Iraq. Louisiana Governor Kathleen Blanco told Bush,and New Orleans mayor Mayor Ray Nagin that she needed 24 hours to make a decision on what to do after the levees broke, she also gave orders to the National Guard troops to shoot, and kill looters, and rioters, but Bush hates black people, and it's his fault that people had to wait for help. So just look at the facts, and quit your bitchin. The liberals have given Bush no options when it comes admitting mistakes. He can't or they'll ask for his head, Bush has done everything possible to reach out to the democrats. He's asked Clinton to do all sorts of humanitarian work around the world with his dad. He let that fat, drunk, murderer Ted Kennedy write the no child left behind act even when Bush had the numbers in Congress to do it his way, and jam it down the democrats throats he tried to work with these people,and at every turn they continue to try to figure out a way to get rid of him. Well guess what? it's not gonna happen, he's got two years left, and he's not going anywhere so learn to live with it or learn to work with someone who's bent over backwards to work with your party even when he's had the numbers in congress to shut you completely out. Minnesota Twins Win the A.L. Central division!

Most of you probably don't care, but I had to blow our horn. With the Twins win against the White Sox today, and Detroits loss to The Royals. The Minnesota Twins once again have clinched the A.L. Central division title. If both teams would have either lost or won today then Detroit would have won the title. So Detroit is now the Wild card winner, and will play The Yankees on Tuesday,and the Twins will face the Oakland A's in Minnesota on tuesday. The winner of that series will face either the Yankees or Detroit. Go Twins! The Angry American

The Republicans can admit wrongdoing, why can't the Democrats?

It seems lots of bloggers have written about Bill Clinton's interview with Chris Wallace last week, that's one of the main reasons I hadn't I figured why repeat what everyone else has said, but something else has came up over the past few days that makes me also think back to that interview. Florida Representative Republican Mark Foley was acused of sending provocative e-mails, and text messages to a 16 year old boy who used to work as a page. I have read some of these messages, and to use the word provocative is an understatement. These messages could not have been mistaken for something they were not. Now over the past few days the Democrats have accused Thomas Reynold's Republican from New York of not doing enough, So here is what I found out about what he did do. In the summer of 2005 is when the contact occurred, this past spring Rodney Reynold's R- Louisiana was contacted by the boys family, He discussed it with Reynold's ,and he told Reynold's the family did not want this pursued legally they just wanted it to stop. After Reynolds looked into it he contacted Dennis Haskert about it who's office did refer it to authorities. Also during that time it was referred to Rep, John Shimkus R- Ill who oversees the page program who then talked directly to Foley. Foley told Shimkus it was an innocent exchange,and Shimkus told him to not have any further contact with the family. Now keep in mind the family of the boy DID NOT WANT THIS PURSUED LEGALLY, and also only they,and Foley knew at the time the exact conversations that had taken place. "Congressman Reynolds inaction in the face of such a serious situation is very troubling, and raises important questions about whether there was an attempt to cover up criminal activity involving a minor to keep it from coming to light before Election Day, said Democratic National Committee spokeswoman Karen Finney, again the family did not want this pursued. Also there has not been one Republican who has supported Foley during this time. The only thing that maybe could have done differently is someone could have asked Foley to resign at that time, and it's possible that someone did, I don't know for sure. But I doubt he would have resigned at the time, but when ABC news confronted Foley publicly he had no choice but to resign, and don't get me wrong I'm glad ABC confronted him,and I'm glad Foley resigned, but I do wish there were criminal charges against him. That's the difference between the Republicans, and Democrats we will turn our back on someone within our party who breaks the law they won't. Maybe the Democrats will now stop bashing ABC for their film "The Path to 9-11" from last month. A film that put the Democrats into an uproar because it dared to make the hint that Bill Clinton could have done more to stop 9-11. Not Bill Clinton! He's the greatest President since John F. Kennedy, he was shining example of truth so if he says he did everything he could to capture Bin Laden then he must have, because he's honest! Damn ABC for suggesting otherwise. So before I make my next point let's look at the honesty of Bill Clinton. Let's start with the first, and most well known in march of 1992 Clinton while running for office said "When I was in England I experimented with marijuana a time or two, and I didn't like it. I didn't inhale and never tried it again." Did anyone ever really buy that story? he tried it a couple times, but never inhaled why the hell not just say I smoked pot a couple times in college, but I'm not proud of it. Don't give me this crap about I never inhaled. How about this one? Mine will be the most ethical administration in the history of the republic!" -- President-Elect Bill Clinton, November 1992. That makes me laugh until my stomach hurts, how's this for ethics "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" -- Bill Clinton on Monica Lewinsky. Or "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is"-- Bill Clinton, during his 1998 grand jury testimony on the Monica Lewinsky affair. I couldn't care less what Clinton got Lewinsky to do to him,and most Republicans feel the same way. What I care about is the fact that as the President of The United States of America he lied under oath in a court of law. Look at Nixon He didn'tnt authorize the Watergate break in, but when he found out about it he tried to cover it up, and when he got caught he resigned, and many republicans wanted him to, but not one democrat asked Clinton to resign after he lied under oath in a court of law. Then they tried to paint it as a witch hunt, and that he was being impeached because he had an affair. His affair had little to do with it. He wasn't being investigated for an affair it came up during the investigation, and when asked about it under oath he lied, it's really that simple. Now let's talk about Clinton's path to 9-11 The first World Trade Center bombing happened 30 days after Clinton took office, most of the individuals involved in that attack were captured, and imprissioned. The one who actually planted the explosives was Ramzi Yousef he is the nephew of Khalid Shaikh Mohammed who was considered the mastermind behind both WTC bombings. Clinton did not catch Mohammad, Bush did. It was also known that the head of Al-Qaeda was Osamma Bin Laden, and Mohammad was a top member in Al-Qaeda. Bin Laden himself was linked to attacks on U.S. interest himself as early as 1992 with the bombing of a hotel in Yemen Clinton tried to Kill Bin Laden in August of 1998, and in November of 1998 is when an indictment was issued for Bin Laden. Now here is Clinton's biggest, and most dangerous lie that he did everything he did to get Bin Laden. Clinton and the 9-11 commission both deny it, but according to both the Sudanese Government, and former U.S. Ambassador to Sudan Tim Carney the Sudanese Government offered to extradite Bin Laden to the U.S. in 1996 and that Clinton turned them down,and stated that we'll get him later on down the road. Why would the Sudanese government lie about that offer? They have no reason to, they wanted to get rid of him, and after Clinton turned down the offer they asked Bin Laden to leave their country, and he headed for Afghanistan. After getting to Afghanistan Bin Laden stepped up his attacks against U.S. interests,and in 1999 three years after the offer by Sudan Clinton tried to force Afghanistan to extradite Bin Laden. So for 8 years Clinton stumbled ,and bumbled after Bin Laden, and he doesn't have the balls to admit that he made mistakes instead he points the finger completely at the Bush administration for the 8 months prior to 9-11, but his 8 years were spent trying to get Bin Laden. Give me a break, as much as Clinton would like to change history he can't. In Clinton's interview he acted like a complete Jackass, and lied like a two dollar whore, but the Democratic party stands there, and talks about ethics. When was the last time a Democrat has stood against another member of their party who has done wrong? To be honest I can't remember when it happened. Ted Kennedy with a bottle of scotch in one hand, and a Chappaquiddick tourism guide in the other is their role model. Democratic congressmen from Louisianana William Jefferson had $90,000 in his freezer,and was video taped by the F.B.Ireceivingng $100,000 in cash, and not one Democrat has asked him to resign. All they did was strip Jefferson of his committie memberships. The F.B.I claims to have uncovered at least 8 different schemes that Jefferson was involved in. Also during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina Jefferson asked members of the National Guard to give him a tour of his area he then had them stop at his house, and he started to take personal items from his home. The National Guards then got stuck in the mud, and had to have another truck come to pull them out. The only time the democrats will turn their back on someone in their own party is when that person doesn't follow the party blindly, Joe Lieberman said we needed to stay in Iraq until the job is done, and they turned on him in a heartbeat. This was a guy who for the past eight years or so had been one of their biggest names, but he dared to go against the party, and they cut his throat in a political sense, and then had the balls to say he shouldn't run for re-election without the parties nomination. Yesterday afternoon I drove about 45 minutes to my uncle's farm to pick pears, and apples. The drive out there is mostly thru farm country,and you also have to drive thru about six small town farm communities, now the DFL stands for Democratic Farm Labor Party so with the elections coming soon I assumed that small farm towns would lean Democrat, but on the way to the farm it did'nt seem that way, so on the way back I tried to keep track in my head,and I would say that signs supporting Republicans out numbered Democrat signs by about 80%. They say that in Minnesota it is about 43% who support the Democratic party, and 41% who support the Republican, and the rest don't favor either party. I've also noticed that the big cities like the one I work in, and the one I grew up in both seem to lean very much towards the Democratic party. Now what is my point? Well basicly that the Democratic Farm Labor party has now lost it's base. Instead it gets the support of people who live in bigger cities who have higher home prices, and higher property taxes. The farmers can see the Republican tax breaks have worked, many farmers here in Minnesota farm, and work day jobs,or they farm full time,but their wives work full time. Farming in Minnesota has become more of a noble cause over the years, and a family tradition it's very difficult to farm full time, and turn a profit. Most in this day,and age use it to make some extra money. So these aren't corporate farmers,they are hard working blue collar people who during the fall of the year when they have crops to get in will probably work 7 days a week until it's done. They have turned thier backs on the Democrats,and have seen that tax breaks for all work. Remember this is the democrats original base who no longer believe in them , Instead their base has switched to people who live in big cities who say they don't want the tax breaks because they want the government to put that money into something else that is more important,but then they complain that their property taxes are to high. The reason their property taxes are high is because the town they live in is using that money for those extras they want. So do you want the state or federal government to pay for those things or your local government,and what's the difference either way you pay for it. So this is what the Democratic party has now become a bunch of whinners who want the government to take care of them, and the hard working people the democratic party was started to defend know it,and have turned their backs on their own party. These people support strong military,and that each community should take care of itself, and not rely on the government to take care of you. If you're a farmer,and paying taxes does any of that money funnel to your communitie....NO it goes to Minneapolis,and St.Paul. Does the Democratic party support anything that these people believe in? I've meaning to write this post for some time, but just have been to busy to do it, but as it gets closer to election time I figured I better get on this one. Usually around election time there is lots of talk about special interest groups funding people's campaigns, so first let me say something about that. If you support abortion,and take money from a group that supports abortion I can't really say that is a conflict, I support the N.R.A. so if I were running for some type of public office I wouldn't think twice about taking money from a "special interest group" like the N.R.A. since I support them in the first place, But what about someone who is running on the platform of going after big oil tax breaks when they themselves have money invested in big oil or they continue to talk about how corporate lobbyists have hurt American Politics,but they never mention that they themselves were once a corporate lobbyist, and continues to help fund their campaign with Washington D.C. fundraisers. This is the situation we have here in Minnesota with a U.S. Senate candidate named Amy Klobuchar I could write an entire story just on this sorry excuse for a candidate, but I don't want to stray from the topic of outside money funding political campaigns. How many of you actually know where money comes from to support your candidate? Here in Minnesota it seems that the Democrats will take money from anyone willing to shovel it out. I'm sure many of you have heard of Al Franken, he's a former writer, and sometimes actor on Saturday Night Live. He also appears on many political talk show,and hosts a radio show that no one listens to. I do find Franken to be both funny,and intelligent, but also an egotistical jackass. He is also the founder of an organization called Midwest Values PAC. Since Franken is from Minnesota they donate mostly in Minnesota (I wonder how much they'll donate to his run at congress in 2008?) but they also donate to other's throughout the Midwest, and around the country according to their website. This year the PAC gave $5000 to the Alliance For a Better Minnesota ,and $15,000 to the State DFL Party here are some who donated to The PAC Barbara Streisand, Sydney Pollack, Rob Reiner,and Jimmy Smits just to name a few. What in the hell do any of these people now about Minnesota values? And what concern is it to them who runs our state? The last thing I care about is what Barbara Streisand, and Rob Reiner think about my values. Let's see what other outsiders have given money to the Minnesota Democratic party, First donating $625,000 to the Alliance for a better Minnesota Alida (Rockefeller) Messinger, a member of the Rockefeller family who is concerned about me, how wonderful! She also donated $75,000 to Win Minnesota, wow she must really care about us here in Minnesota, I'm so glad a Billionaire is willing to help us poor stupid farmers in Minnesota. Also donating to Win Minnesota at the tune of $100,000 is Lynde Uihlein who claims to be a homemaker from Milwaukee Wisconsin, but forgets to mention she's also the Heiress to the Schlitz Brewing Company. Donating to the State DFL, Mike Hatch for governor, Senate DFL,and Minnesota for a change for a total of $191,000 is former Clinton presidential advisory committee Vance Opperman who does live in Minnesota , and has spent most of his life spending his daddies money by bankrolling the Minnesota DFL his dad ran West Publishing a family business, which sold in 1996 for 3.4 Billion in CASH. His father once said "I have political friends, he (Vance) has political friends, and so even if the government changes, we have someone in control." Donating to the Hatch campaign, Minnesota for Change, and Citizens For Effective Government for a total of $111,000 is James Deal a Washington state lawyer as well as a mortgage broker in the state of Washington. How can someone from the state of Washington donate to an organization called "Minnesota For A Change", and why does he care who our Governor is? Last, but not least is our old buddy,the guy who finances every democrat he can find, and spent 23.5 million dollars of his own money to try, and defeat George Bush in 2004. Mr. George Soros. who donated $100,000 to America Votes, and I'm sure will donate more as time goes on. So my question is, do we really care if someone excepts money from a special interest group that the person supports, or should we be worried about these outside interests who really should have no interest in the state to begin with? I wouldn't even care about a celebrity supporting a candidate if they have interests in our government. I wouldn't care if Prince who still lives here a good portion of the year donated, or Bill Murry or Tom Cruise who both used to own cabins in Minnesota (they still might I don't know for sure) or even a rich daddies boy like Vance Opperman who still lives here. What bothers me are these outside interests who have no reason to care who runs our government, chances are if these people care about who runs our state, they care who run yours, and at some point they are going to want something in return, or they are simply jamming their agenda down your throat. F#CK MEXICO! A story of Mexican justice

Now regardless of what someone thinks of his television show, or the fact that he has the worse looking Mullet since I cut mine off in 1993. What has happened to Duane "Dog"Chapman is a true travesty of justice. So I wanted to do a little bio on Chapman,and also talk about his recent arrest,and possible return to Mexico. Chapman as a young man was by no means an angel, He became a member of a motorcycle gang,and was arrested 18 times for armed robbery. In 1977 Chapman was sentenced to five years of hard labor for according to Chapman, murder he claims he didn't commit. He served two years of hard labor,and was paroled in 1979. Chapman's first wife divorced him while he was in prison,when he was released he owed two years back child support, a judge offered him a chance to catch a fugitive for $200 to help knock some of that money off his back support. His career as a bounty hunter was now beginning. After being released from prison Chapman became a born again Christian. Chapman has had over 6000 captures in his 27 year career, his most high profile capture came in June of 2003 when Duane his son Lelend,and his associate Tim captured Andrew Luster who was an heir to the Max Factor fortune who was wanted for at least three brutal rapes after drugging his victims, Luster had antagonized Chapman thru an e-mail telling him "I'll spot your style,and you don't have enough money to catch me", The Chapman trio found Luster in a nightclub in Porta Viarta filled with young girls, of course most people know Porta Viarta is a big tourist town,and is a huge spring break destination, Luster is 6'3",and 245 pounds, and preyed on young girls. He was a good looking, well built guy who was able to use that to his advantage when finding has victims, he was in Porta Viarta as a wolf waiting for his next victim to attack. Chapman knew from what I understand that bounty hunting is illegal, but he took a chance to get a sick abusive rapist to justice. Let's face it with the the way the Mexican police work he would have never been arrested by them, all he would have had do is slip them some money when ever they asked for it. There is also some speculation,that while in Mexico Luster may have assaulted some women there as well. Now my understanding is that the Mexican authorities will allow a bounty hunter into Mexico to perform their duty if they go thru the proper channels, and Chapman did not do that, but again this guy is an heir to a multi million dollar fortune who more then likely would have been tipped off. Chapman was arrested for bounty hunting, and Luster was taken into custody by Mexican authorities. Chapman was released on bail, and then left the country, my understanding is that he was told by his attorneys that they would handle everything, and that his charge would be a misdemeanor offense. A few days later the Judge in the case issued a warrant for their arrest when he found out they left the country. Now jump ahead to last Friday, mind you it was three years after his warrant was issued,and two years after his a&e show went on the air, so with his television exposure it wasn't to hard to find him. On Friday morning at 6 a.m. 12 armed U.S. Federal marshals went on the Chapman's property first grabbing their daughters boyfriend throwing him to the ground, and holding him at gunpoint, they then entered the house, grabbed Chapman in bed, and placed him under arrest. They then continued to Tim's house,and then went after Leland. Duane Chapman jr was there at the time of Leland's arrest,and was told by the marshals afterwards that they were sorry they had to use force, and weapon's but they were only doing their jobs, which I would agree with,what I don't agree with is that fact that it had to happen at all. Authorities could have called Chapman, and told him to turn himself in, he's very recognizable and also owns three bail bonds agencies. This guy is not a flight risk, and the U.S. Justice department should have told the Mexican Government to go F#ck themselves. The Mexican Government will not extradite a fugitive to the U.S. if it is possible that we may put that person to death, so that means rapists, and murderer's are allowed protection if they go to Mexico. That's why Scott Peterson was trying to head to Mexico with a trunk full of cash, and then they go, and ask our government to extradite someone for a misdemeanor! Whoever heard of someone being extradited from one state to another for a misdemeanor, let alone another country?"Dog", Leland,and Tim were released on bail awaiting there extradition hearing, and there has been no date set for those hearings as of yet. What this comes down to is a new Mexican President who wants to make an example of someone,and he knows that Chapman has some money now that he has a show that is highly successful, and he wants Chapman to buy his freedom. How many Americans do you think skipped out of Mexico after receiving a misdemeanor? Probably a good portion of college students who go there for spring break. Do you think they will be arrested? Hell no! There's no money or publicity in it for the Mexican Government. I say when Mexico is willing to extradite murderers, and rapists we'll extradite for misdemeanors, until then they can go and f#ck themselves. The Angry American

"A nationwide poll in July on 9-11 by the Scripps Survey Research Center at Ohio University found that 36 percent of respondents think the federal government either assisted in the attacks or allowed them to happen as a pretext to start a war in the Middle East. The poll also found that 16 percent of respondents think the World Trade Center's twin towers were toppled by hidden explosives and 12 percent think the Pentagon was hit by a U.S. cruise missile. (By comparison, the same poll found that 38 percent think the feds are withholding proof of the existence of intelligent life from other planets.) It has now become a matter of national health that we declare the MOONBAT VIRUS a major epidemic" The surgeon Generals office has issued warning signs,and precautions to deal with the spreading virus as well as tips,and answers on how to deal with someone who is affected by the Moonbat Virus. The Wikipedia Encyclopedia lists "Moonbat" as "Moonbat is a political epithet coined in 2002 by Perry de Havilland of Samizdata.net a libertarian weblog. It was originally a play on the last name of George Monbiot, a columnist for The Guardian. Although the term enjoys great currency in the libertarian and conservative blogosphere as an all-purpose insult for modern liberals, peace protestors, and other ideological opponents, and can best be used to describe someone who constructs elaborate conspiracy theories.
Stage one of the Virus is commonly known as the Cocoon phase. This phase may start as simply as a Tie-dye shirt, and a Phish c.d. Now don't be alarmed if your loved one has purchased these products,but be on the lookout for other strange behavior,mostly language. For instance if the possible infected individual says something along the likes of "Iraq never attacked us why are we there?" this could be a sign. First try and explain to them that Iraq supported terrorism,and Saddam Hussein paid money to the family's of dead suicide bombers,and Iraq is part of the war on terrorism. This should be enough to either help eliminate the virus,or see if the virus has advanced to the next stage. It is also suggested that the infected watch several hours of either the Andy Griffith show or The Green Beret's starring John Wayne,and if possible they should listen to no less then 2 hours of Waylon Jennings music, it has been found that "The Eagle" or "America" on a continuous loop should be enough to reverse most of the early stages of the virus. Stage Two Of the virus is usually known as the Strange Odor Stage. Now this has nothing to do with the infected individual's hygiene,but by now they have been influenced by others infected by the Moonbat virus,and are probably starting to wear Patchouli oil. Patchouli oil is a natural oil that comes from the Patchouli plant it is also used to cover the scent of Marijuana,the Moonbats find this odor of Patchouli oil to be an aphrodisiac,and is worn by both male,and females that are infected with the virus. The stage two infected clothing will usually consist of tie-dye, camouflage, and concert t-shirts. They may start to make crazy statements like " Bush rigged the elections in 2000, and 2004" Try to explain to the infected that in 2000 the votes in Florida were counted three times,and each time Bush was declared the winner,also explain to them that if Bush were going to "fix" an election why would he choose an area that was going to be one of the last ones counted like Florida or Ohio? Why wouldn't he choose an area that would never be noticed that was also close? This may be enough to get them to understand that the conspiracy's are just that,conspiracy's not fact. Stages one,and Two are generally much easier to help reverse the affects of the virus. Again it is suggested that the infected watches either the Andy Griffith show or The Green Beret's starring John Wayne. It is also suggested that the infected does not under any cirstances watch CNN or interviews conducted by Dan Rather until the Virus leaves the body, these will only increase the chance for the Virus to spread.
Stage Three of the virus is referred to as the Anti-Everything stage. At this Point is when the virus is starting to take a serious turn for the worse. The infected will start to go to as many protests as they can, even if they don'tknow what the protest is for . They will continue to give crazy information,about how they don't support the draft. Logic is now slowly disappearing,and explaining to them that we don't have a draft will probably not sway them from going to the anti draft rally. At this point they can not help but go to as many rallies and protests as they can, anti draft, anti war, free Tookie Williams,it's not the cause that matters, it's the protest that counts. Some experts agree that it may be the smell of Patchouli oil, it is usually found repulsive by those not infected,but at this point the infected can not resist it's aroma. They will probably also start chanting crazy slogans at the drop of a hat,some of the more popular chants are "Bush lied people died" and " The Twin Towers were imploded" they may also chant slogans that seem strange to those not infected like "Hands of Fallujah". They may by now have changed in appearance quite a bit, one of the most important signs of the stage three Moonbat is the wearing of a Che Guevara T-shirt or carrying the flag of the U.S.S.R. to one of their protests, if they have both they are surely in stage three. One of the reason most Moonbats identify with Guevara is that many of them are like him the children of wealthy leftist, so when they see real poverty it shocks them,and they think they only way to make things even is to overthrow the Government. It is suggested that the stage three infected Moonbat goes out and gets a job, preferably a blue color job or one in which there is a chance they get dirty. When the have done so they will see how Capitalism works, then there is still the chance that the infected will be able to recover. Stage Four is known as The Blank Stare Stage. When the infected has entered this stage there is no help for recovery. It is also know as the thousand mile stare, and can be seen in the above examples of One of the nations most well known Moonbats Cindy Sheehan when she was still in her fourth stage infection, as well as Manson Family member Lynette "Squeaky" Fromme most members of the Manson family possessed the blank stare, however most Moonbats even in these late stages are not violent people. The infected in this stage have now lost all sense of reason,and some like Miss Sheehan have also lost most of their sanity. They will talk about what a horrible country we live in,and look at Cuba as a shining example of freedom. Even if you explain to them that From the time Fidel Castro took power in 1959 that by the year 1967 experts believe that over 5000 executions had been carried out against people who spoke against the Government of Cuba,those not executed where imprissioned. Or that the Constitution Of Cuba states that citizens have the right to free speech as long as it keeps with the objective of a socialist society. They will still argue that Cuba is free society,and America is not. Even when they use America's freedom's in a public place they can not be convinced that they are doing so. It is still under much debate between scientists if those infected with the fourth stage of the virus are misinformed or just pathological liars. There is no hope for the fourth stage infected Moonbats. They can not understand common sense anymore. If you have a loved one who is in the Fourth stage of the virus all one can do is hope that one day they are committed before they hurt themselves or someone else. Do not try to convince the loved one that they are wrong about anything, this will only anger them,and make them believe you are part of "The Conspiracy" It's best to just pat their arm,and tell them they'll be o.k. Even John Wayne, Andy Griffith,and Waylon Jennings in a steady barrage can not turn them back now. Stage Five This is the final stage and is known in the scientific community as The Sack of Squirrels stage. It was named that, because at this point the infected have become crazier then a sack of squirrels. They are now full blooded Moonbats. One of the unique things with this stage is that they now have severe hearing problems. They can still hear everything,but if you are saying something that they don't agree with it sounds as if your blowing a trumpet in their ear, so since they can't hear you, when they talk to you they feel the need to yell,and they do so at very inopportune times like at funerals,and award shows. They also show an extreme hatred for anything that America stands for, they believe in freedom of speech,but if question them they call you a hate monger. They also say things like 9-11 happened because of things that we've done,and then in the next sentence will say 9-11 was a conspiracy by the Bush administration. At this point they will do anything to recruit more Moonbats, some will write books about conspiracy's, some will make movie's in which they will make up facts or twist one story into another,and change names all for the sake of the making more Money. Yes at this point the Moonbats who have grown to hate capitalism will do whatever it takes to make a quick buck, even if that means learning to cry on cue for the camera's,and posing for pictures on the grave of their dead children. Anyone can become a Moonbat even The son of extremely popular former conservative President's as in the case of Ron Reagan Jr. So do not take for granted that your loved one can't become a Moonbat. The important thing is to look for the early warning signs. More then two Tie-dyed shirts, music by Phish, Neal Young or if your loved one never listened to the Dixie Chicks until after the infamous we're not proud of George Bush comment, the smell of Patchouli oil,and most importantly conspiracy theory comments on more then one topic. Also remember that not all infected with the Moonbat Virus will become stage five Moonbats,they may never advance further then the early stages. Scientists also claim that 98% of all Moonbats infected with the stage Five of the virus will die penniless,and insane trying to play a phonograph record with a peanut, so it's important to catch it in the early stages if at all possible. I wanted to go in a different direction in this post,I want to stay away from politics,and just talk about one day in my life. Tuesday September 11th 2001 is one of those situations in life in which you will always remember where you were at when it happened. For me I was at work,at the time I was working a small town newspaper one of eleven employees , I ran the printing department,and most mornings I did my prep,and finishing from the day before jobs. During this time I would usually have the radio on,and when I heard about the first plane hitting the first tower in was really just a quick blurb on before the commercial break,about 20 minutes later they announced that a second plane hit the second tower. The original report on the radio was that the first plane was a commercial Jetliner,and the second was a small private plane,but they believed that this was now a terrorist attack,before I even started thinking about what was going on I went around the building,and told everyone what was going on,most everyone turned on their radio at that point. About a half hour later I was standing in the front talking to the secretary's about everything,and then we heard about a third plane crashing into the Pentagon,when that was announced on of the secretary's named Carol got very quiet,her Father was a lifetime military man,and was currently stationed at the Pentagon. She was on the verge of tears,but not quite hysterical. She told the owners she needed to find out what was going on,and they told her just stay there,and make whatever phone calls she needed,they did not want her driving in her condition. About the time we thought it was all over a half hour later we heard that a fourth plane had crashed into a field in Pennsylvania. It was also around this time that it was announced that all airflight was grounded until further notice, I guess with everything going on I didn't really even contemplate that would happen. I had a one way ticket for Friday morning to fly to New Orleans, I wasn't to worried about it because I knew I would be able to rework my schedule when flight was resumed. However we already had a Ryder truck reserved in Louisiana for the move back here,and my girlfriend who was living in Louisiana at the time I knew would be freaking out about it. We found out about an hour after the Pentagon bombing that Carols dad's office was moved due to the work that was being done at the Pentagon,and was actually at an office building about a block from the Pentagon,but her mom still had not heard from him,but he was more then likely fine. I took lunch a little earlier that day,and the owners told me they went home for lunch that day,and that both of the Twin Towers had collapsed. I went home from work around five that day which was a little later then normal,looking back I think it was because I didn't want to be by myself,not out of fear,but I think because I wanted to be somewhere with fellow American's. All the local church's in town had big signs out front that said come in and pray, I thought about going in,but since I hadn't been to church in years I thought it would be hypocritical,and I would be more comfortable praying at home instead. Normally when I would get home from work I would watch an hour of the Simpsons,but tonight I was like everyone else I wanted to see what was going on,and I just couldn't believe the actual visual site of watching those planes smash into those buildings. It was after five P.M. And I was just watching these images for the first time. I called my parents,and my mom who is always worried about something was of course worried about me flying after this event. I wasn't able to talk to my girlfriend Angel (who would later become my wife) until she got home from work at around 8:30, so I pretty much spent the rest of the evening watching the news footage,and talking to a few friends on the phone. Angel got a hold of me when she got home from work,and we talked until 2:00 a.m, I tried to just tell her that all we can do is play things by ear. If we loose the rider truck there is nothing we can do about it,and I also felt they probably would understand the circumstances,and either hold it or refund her the money. I tried to play it as I wasn't nervous about flying,but to be honest I was, I had never flown and my flight was suppose to be one of the very first flights allowed back in the air. I remember the anger,and true hatred I had in my heart that day for the people who had committed these acts,and also the pride I had as an American when it seemed that everyone in America was all on the same page. There were no political parties, no racial divides, It seemed that we all wanted the same exact thing, for terrorists in the world to pay for what had happened,and make sure it never happened again . When I got off the phone with Angel about 2:00 a.m, I watched t.v for a while longer,but could feel myself falling asleep as I watched, I went to bed completely mentally drained. When you remember the anniversary of 9-11 remember how you felt inside that day,and remember all of those who died that day, all of them were loved by somebody,they were mother's, father's, brother's, sister's, son's, daughter's, husband's,and wife's, and they were from all racial,and religious backgrounds, business people,emergency workers,and blue color people they were truly what this country is about, the great melding pot. The story of a war

I thought I would do something a little bit differently in this post,so I am going to tell you all a story of a war. A story you've probably heard before,but may want to hear about it again. There once was a President who wanted to overthrow a Government,this Government was divided into two groups,the controlling group did everything they could to make sure that the other group stayed in line even if that meant they had to kill people of the other group. This Government didn't like our President telling them what to do,so our Government ,and theirs went to war. This President asked for powers that no other President had ever wielded, including imprisoning people without a trial,and spending money without congressional authorization. After the war was over reconstruction of the fallen enemy had begun,but there was still fighting,because the first group still wanted to oppress the other group.This President was opposed by many other politicians because of his decision making,including members of his own political party,but he was determined to stay the course. So do you think I'm talking about President Bush,and Iraq? No I'm talking about Abraham Lincoln,and The Confederate States of America,and even when our Government overthrew the Confederates the old hardline Confederates did everything they could do to make sure the blacks were kept in line,like starting organizations like the K.K.K., or former slave owners telling the blacks that we will let you farm the land with us,and then making it impossible for them to ever become financially independent,after paying the former slave owner rent,and having to pay for farm supply's the now free former slave was still indebted to the landowner probably for the rest of their life. In the late 50's southern blacks had had enough,they were not slaves anymore,and demanded to be free. Many gave their life for that freedom,black and white,but the old south still did not want to give that freedom,and many southern politicians still would not follow what the Government told them to do,they would not Desegregate their Schools,and treated blacks as second class citizens. Contrary to popular belief the civil rights movement did not start with John F Kennedy,it started in 1954 with President Dwight D Eisenhower a republican. Segregation on the other hand was supported by Democrat's like Arkansas Governor Orval Faubus, Mississippi Governor Ross Barnett,and Democratic politician Eugene "Bull" Connor who was the Birmingham Alabama Public Safety Commissioner who used fire hoses,and police attack dogs on unarmed peaceful protestors, John F Kennedy,and His brother Bobby considered Martin Luther King Jr a great threat,and had King put under surveillance,after Kennedy's assassination,and much pressure Lyndon Johnson actually started helping black America.It took the Democrat's in this country 100 years after the end of the Civil war to actually do the right thing. So I wonder about a couple things,why is it that the democratic party now claims they did so much for the Civil rights movement when in fact it was their party that oppressed blacks in America up until just 40 years ago? Why is it that they continue to call the Republican party racist bigots when it's Republican leaders like Lincoln thro Eisenhower,and others who are the ones who fought for us all to truly be free? And why is it that the Democrat's want us to pull out of Iraq so another oppressive regime can take over that Government,and dominate the minorities in that country? And why is it that Black leaders like Jesse Jackson will continue to support the Democratic party when it was that party he fought against during the Civil Rights Movement of the 50's,and 60's? I think it's time in this country that we set history straight about which political party actually was at the front of the Civil Rights Movement,and we need to make sure that history does not repeat itself in this country or one that is also in a state chaos that will oppress the minorities of that country. I watching MSNBC this afternoon because they had a report about Walmart on,so I watched it,Then I Googled Walmart and found a blog called wake up Walmart. Low and behold I guess Walmart is the worst creation capitalism has ever created.About a month a was walking through a local Walmart,and some guy who was walking through the store with his wife was literally yelling everything in this damn store is made in China,he continued to do this for several minutes. My wife made me leave,because I was walking over to him to tell him to not shop there if he doesn't like the store, that sounds like common sense to me. I should also mention I doubt this guy had ever been in a Walmart in his life,his shoes I would guess cost more then all the cloths on my back that day,and my boots cost $150.00. So it's obvious he doesn't support capitalism,and believes that the rich are evil. My wife was recently offered a Job working at Walmart,she makes more then what they offered her,but she's considering it since it may be an easier schedule now that she's back in school. Now my wife worked at Target about three years ago,and Walmarts starting pay in almost $2.00 an hour more then Target,and I want you to do some research if you get a chance, twice a week go to Walmart,and walk thru the store,and look at all the employees,then drive over to Target,and do the same thing,do this for six months,then tell me how many employees that work at Target you see that worked there 6 months ago,and do the same with Walmart. I can guarantee that the number will be higher at Walmart. Why? Because Target has a policy that after the employees 90 day probation period is over they are slowly written off the schedule,that way they don't have to pay insurance or give a raise,and they hire a new employee,and do it all over again. They will tell the employee that they are still employed there,but right now they need to give more hours to new employees so they can train them,and this goes on until the employee quits,because they can't make it one 6 hours a week. Now lets talk about Walmarts products. Do they sell cheap crap from China? Of course they do,everyone does. Go to Walmart,and any store you choose,and price we'll say soup ladles, both stores will carry the same ladle,and Walmart's will be maybe a few cents cheaper,but then Walmart will also carry about 2 or 3 other cheap labels that are low quality,and price. While the other store will carry 2 0r 3 that cost more,but are better quality.You don't have to buy the ladle that costs 88 cents, personally I'd rather pay a little more and get one that's better quality, if that means the better quality one Walmart carries or an even more costly on from the other store. Most other stores have very few full time cashier jobs with benefits, Walmart is one of the rare few that does. I also hear all the time about Walmarts "sweatshop products" Are there products made in other country's that don't enforce child labor laws? I don't know for sure,but I'd guess probably yes. Now again go to any other chain store in the country,and tell me they don't. They carry the same exact products that Walmart does,but for some reason people don't beat up on Target, Shopko, Kmart, Sears. If you really want to avoid products that may be made in child labor factory's I suggest you make your own clothing,because that is the only way,and then you better find out where the material is being made,and don't buy any home electronics. Lots of anti-Walmart people continue to push for unions, hey GREAT idea look how much the unions have done for the Airline,and U.S. Automaker industries, they're the example of profitability. Wouldn't it be great if someone who runs a cash register for 30 years would also get a Pension? If you run a cash register or unload pallets of dog food,do you really expect to make enough to feed a family? Walmart does promote from within. (unlike their competition) but if all you ever do is an entry level job,all you will ever receive is entry level pay,you cant expect to make $15 to $20 an hour in a entry level job,and lets face it some people will just never move up in a company,could be they have a bad attitude or they're just morons.My suggestion is if you've worked at Walmart for 5 years,and you feel you should be making more or should have been able to move up,and haven't you should find another job. Maybe you're an incompetent boob,and nobody wants to tell you,and hurt your feelings. I think what this all boils down to is anyone who is #1 at something is a target. Remember the movie Supersize me from a few years ago about how unhealthy McDonald's is.Before this movie came out did people think a hambuger that drips grease was healthy? McDonalds wasn't even the first fast food place to start the larger size products, Wendy's started it about 6 months prior,and still do it,but McDonalds is #1 so let's go after them.Walmart is #1 let's go after them. Disney is the #1 childrens entity let's go after them.I have a better idea if you don't like them don't go there,and shut your fat piehole. If you want to convince yourself that buying the same exact product from another store is somehow a better quality product then the one that is sold at Walmart fine go ahead,and I also have some magic beans for sale if your interested. And if you work at Walmart and don't like it QUIT! It's not skilled labor IT'S AN ENTRY LEVEL JOB,and you can't expect to make $40 to $60 thousand a year pushing a pallet jack. And if you don't want the job someone else will who will do their job,and not complain. In my last post about Michael Moore I wanted to get a little more in depth about health care in America,but just didn't have the time to get into the detail I would have liked,so I'll take this time to do that now. Michael Moore's next "documentary" is going to be called "Sicko" and is about the poor health care system here in America. I suggest anyone who thinks we have such poor health care move to any country in which thy think it is better. There is not one single country in the world that spends as much as we do on medical research. We like to complain that we can get our medicine cheaper in Canada.Which is true,but what most people forget to mention is that most of the time the cheaper medicine you're getting from Canada is not the drug companies brand,but a generic brand from a Canadian pharmacy. You can sell a product much cheaper when you don't have to do the research yourself.While we're on the subject on Canada let's talk about them for a while, the liberals in this country love to use Canada as a shining example of FREE health care for all it's citizens,and I'm sure Moore will push that as well in his film,but they always leave out the fact that the FREE health care in Canada sucks! So now they have two health care systems in Canada,the one that the wealthy have that they pay for themselves ,and the Free one almost every other citizen has.So when you call your Doctor in Canada to make an appointment for let's say the flu,and they ask you what kind of health care they will be using,and you tell them the Government issued insurance,who do you think will get an appointment? the one that the government reimburses,or the one the private insurance reimburses? Ask anyone in Canada about the great FREE health care,you actually have to be put on a waiting list for minor medical treatments like having your tonsils removed. You may have to wait for up to a year or longer for such a minor medical procedure.Why?because the Canadian Government needs to okay such a procedure first,but enough about Canada. Let's get back to America. Let's talk about my health insurance. When I was 18,and was first offered health insurance thru my job I paid about $15.00 a month for 100 percent coverage with no co-pay. The next year it became around $20.00 for 100 percent coverage with a $5.00 co-pay for both office visits and medicine co-pay. The company I worked for at that time had around 300 employees,now lets jump ahead to current days. I work for a company with about 35 employees,and this year our plan changed so drastically that we now have a huge deductible to the point that we basically will not even use our insurance at all.Now some would be outraged,how in America can this happen? Well I'll tell you every single year for 5 years our company used more money then we paid in. Just last year we had one person who needed a pacemaker,one person,and his wife both had knee surgery,there were two babies born,one person had carpal tunnel surgery,and I had tests done for carpal tunnel only to find out I had arthritis in my wrist,and those are just the major things I can think of,and know of.So should the insurance company continue to take a lose on our company? Or should my employer continue to have to pay huge premiums, or even bigger premiums? Sure they could have,but then they would have had to let some people go from their jobs. Who do you think would go? Someone who's 25-35 years old,and will have less medical spending or someone who 50-60,and will use it more? So my employer has done other things to try to cover the bases,like putting money into Medical Savings Accounts for each employee,and paying for a good portion of a membership at the YMCA,as well as other things. Insurance company's are in business for the same reason as everyone else, they HAVE to turn a profit in order to stay in business,so stop complaining, and stop complaining they make to much profit.If you own a business,and you turned a profit this year should you feel guilty about it? And we do have free health care here in America, many citizens have free health care,but when someone goes to the hospital, and does not have insurance,and then skips out with either false information or they're an illegal alien who pays for it? The hospital doesn't just write that off,when you go to the hospital that's all figured in to cover people who are going to skip out on the bill.That's why when you're in the hospital an aspirin costs $5.00. So ask yourself,do you want to pay $5.00 for an aspirin? Or do you want to wait 12 months for the government to give you an aspirin? The Angry American

Andy Warhol once said that everyone is famous for 15 minutes. So I'm wondering isn't Micheal Moore's 15 minutes just about up? He's currently working on a new documentary,(and I use the word documentary lightly) about the health care here in the United States it's going to be called Sicko,but first lets talk about his other "documentaries" . His first was called Roger and me,about GM CEO Roger Smith downsizing and the Flint Michigan GM plant,and how it harmed the area. Now Moore is originally from Flint so I'll give him a bit of a break for taking it personally.This is probably his best film,it's a little bit more factual,and not just made up facts from Moore ,However he never did mention the reason that Auto companys here in the States have problems is due to the huge incentive,and retirement packages they are forced to give by the Unions,but that topic is for another place,and time. He then did several several short documentaries,and PBS specials as well as a couple television shows the first called TV Nation which first aired on NBC,after being canceled it moved to Fox. YES FOX Moore worked for Rupert Murdoch a major supporter of the Republican party,and called by many a neo-conservative. But Moore did'nt have a problem cashing his checks. Next came a show called The Awful Truth which is also the name of Moore's website.Another show which was canceled after two seasons. So after the falure of two television shows Moore went back to feature documentaries the first being Bowling for Columbine about guns in America. I'll point out a few,repeat a FEW of his lies in this film.He attacks the N.R.A. with a vengence which would'nt be so bad if he was a little bit factual about things. He takes two seperate clips of Charelton Heston the NRA president and makes them appear as they are from the same speech. He also states that Heston went into Flint Michigan right after a young girl in Mt.Morris Michigan was shot to death so he could hold a big pro-gun rally. It was actually 8 months later,and Moore himself was there two months earlier campaining for Ralph Nader. He also states that the NRA was formed the same year that the KKK became an illegal organization. now while it is true that in 1871 the Klan became a criminal organization with the passing of the Federal Ku Klux Klan act and enforcement act it is also the same year the NRA was formed. Moore tries to link the NRA with the Klan on several ocassions,but does not mention that President Grant was the one who signed the Klan act,and enforcement into law,after leaving the white house Grant was elected the 8th President of the NRA. Grants signing of these acts made him very unpopular with many whites,5000 arrests were made of Klan members after these were made into law. The NRA was formed by former Union officers,the Klan was fromed by former Confederate soldiers,and in the 50's and 60's many blacks formed NRA chapters in the south in order to get surplus military rifles in order to fight off the Klan, and oh yeah Grant was also a Republican. Moore recieved an Academy Award for best Documentary, Which I don't understnd because one fo the Academies rules is that a documentary must be NON-FICTION. I would assume that made up lies should be considered fiction, at his acceptence Moore made his now famous Shame on you President Bush,shame,shame,shame. In which Moore was Loudly booed,and I saw Jack Nicholson say "sit down you fat piece of sh#t" Who would have guessed a year later he would be Hollywoods sweetheart.

Next he made the hugly succesfull Fahrenheit 9-11 (he's also currently working on Fahrenheit 9-11 1/2 by the way) If you want to find out more of his deceptions I suggest you watch FAHRENHYPE 9-11,but for now lets talk about a couple of them here. His biggest statemnet being that Iraq,and Saddam Hussein have never threatened or attacked an American ever,but here are Saddam's exact words he made in a televised speech, "The Arab people have not so far fulfilled their duties. They are called upon to target U.S. and Zionist interests everywhere and target those who protect these interests." and on the first anniversary of September 11th a weekly newspaper owned by Uday Hussein said that Arabs should "use all means-and they are numerous-against the aggressors...and considering everything American as a military target, including embassies, installations, and American companies, and to create suicide/martyr [fidaiyoon] squads to attack American military and naval bases inside and outside the region, and mine the waterways to prevent the movement of war ships..." More is also currently being sued by a doudle amputee Iraq war veteran named Sgt. Peter Damon 33 for $85 Million .,Moore took footage of an interview Damon did for NBC news in which he talked about a new painkiller the military was useing to help stop phantom limb pain. They took a clip of him on a gurney saying he's feels like he's being crushed in a vice,but they do help take the edge off. His image appears seconds after Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) says, "You know, they say they're not leaving any veterans behind, but they're leaving all kinds of veterans behind." Damon claims that Moore used the footage without his concent,and damaged his reputation by insinuating he did no support the war in Iraq,and was not happy with his treatment by the Military. On a side note the film was originally supposed to be released by Miramax but was dropped because they did not want to produce a politacly biased film so close to election time. What i found funny about that is on one of Moore's old Television show he has a person in a chicken suit he calls crackers confront a suited Mickey Mouse about Disney's unfair labor practices. Miramax films is owned by Disney. So once again it seems Moore can overlook injustice if it puts money in his pocket. So do you really want to see another film in which Moore bashes America,while changing the facts to fit his own needs to fill his greedy little hands with money? Or do you want to try to research things for yourself? His 15 minutes are over,and I think he should marry Cindy Sheehan and maybe then they can both move on with their lives that they've built off the blood of dead Americans. Stop the abuse at Guantanamo Bay! Unless the prisoners are doing it,then I guess it's o.k.

We've all read the stories or heard on the news about the abuse the poor prisoners have had to endure at Guantanamo Bay. It was all over the news for days when three prisoners hung themselves a few months ago,according to most news organizations it was because they just could'nt take the abuse anymore. It's also very hard on these enemy combatants to be away from their familys,and they need to be tried by a U.S. Court of law. For some reason we are suppose to try prisoners of war as U.S. citizens or else we are depriving them of their Constitutional rights....What! prisoners of war....Constitutional rights? They are right there is much abuse at Guantanamo Bay,but we aren't hearing about it in the media,according to reports released from the Freedom of Information act between December 2002 and July 2005 that's exactly two,and a half years there were more then 440 reported incidents of detainees attacking gaurds. Now look at those numbers...That means that at least once every other day a guard is attacked at Guantanamo Bay. Including when a detainee tried to gauge out the eye of a gaurd when he was unruly,and they tried to remove him from his cell,he reached under the gaurds face shield,and tried to dig his fingers into the gaurds eye socket. Or during the week leadin up to Christmas of 2004 when guards were frequently spit upon,and on Chritmas eve when an M.P. was stabbed in the hand as he took a detainees tray,the prisoner then vowed to kill the guard. The prisoners are all given things of comfort such as a sink in their cell,meal plates, plastic flip flops,hygene products,hair brushes,and electric fans to help keep them cool....Yes you read it right electric fans. Not to mention new Quran's and prayer rugs when they arrive so they can continue to worship their god . Allmost all of these items have been used as weapons against guards. One of the most serious situations happened when a prisoner attemped suicide while fellow inmates slicked the floor with human feces hoping to over power the guards when they slipped on the floor,they used the grates of the fans as shields, the blades as machetes,and the pole as a battering ram. Incredibly the guards,and prisoners had only minor injuries after the uprising was stopped. Guards now have to wear facial guards to block bodily fluid that is thrown at them on a regular basis. Navy Senior Chief Petty Officer Mark D. Keen had this to say "Seeing a human being act that way, it's terrifying. And for the guards to continue to walk up and down the block, covered in urine and feces, it's just a bad thing," Yes it is! What do you think would happen to prisoners here in the United States if the treated guards this way? I'll tell you what would happen. They would be thrown into solitary confinment with no religous book or other extra perk,but we can't do that to enemy combatants...that would violate their cival rights. And what do you think would happen to an Ameican citizen if you got put into prison in sayMexico,China,Turkey, or about 20 other countries and they did these things...I can allmost gaurntee you'd never be heard from again,but we treat enemy combatants as if they are in jail for a minor traffic violation,and we allow Congress,and the courts to let them use us. So Amnesty International... SCREW YOU! It's our citizens being abused,not the other way around,and if we defend ourselves the media in this country paints us as the villan. So New York Times....SCREW YOU! And to all the bleeding heart liberals wanting to give war prisoners the rights we are promised as American citizens while our citizens are abused....SCREW YOU!! Who is Kevin Cosgrove ? Up until a couple days ago I never heard of him either. Then while on the internet a few days ago I ran across a video that introduced me to him. He lived in West Islip New York. He was 46 and the claims Vice President of Aon Corporation. And he was on the 105th floor of the west tower of the World Trade Center on Sptember 11th 2001. And the video brought me back to the day it happened. How sad it was. How angry I was. Here is a link to the video. It made me wonder how this country will ever come together as one with American citizens saying things like that. I can gaurantee that no one said anything like that after Peral Harbor. But this post isn't about people who hate their country. This is about Kevin Cosgrove. Isn't this a sign of the Apocolypse? France is our ally again?

I've been meaning to write over the past week about what's been going on between Isreal and Lebanon. But I'm very angered over the situation. So I kind of wanted to calm down first so I did'nt come across as a complete lunatic. But today I saw something that just blew me away,and I had to talk about it. France is actually backing the U.S. And standing behind Isreal! According to a few things I've read. French President Jacques Chirac had a close freind named Rafik al-Hariri who was a former Lebanese prime minister who was killed in a car bomb in 2005. That may have changed Chirac's feeling about Hezbollah. Now we are still not quite on the same page as France. France is only standing behind Isreal,because they feel Isreal will completely destroy Lebanon. So Chirac would like to see Hezbollah taken out,and a new government put in place. He feels Hezbollah has provoked Isreal,and they have the right to defend themselves. But remeber France had some problems with militant Islamists a while back,and A huge population in France is Muslim. So he doesn't want to ruffle any feathers here. So he's just saying that Hezbollah has continued to push the boundries with Isreal until they had no choice but to fight back.An easy way out for Chirac,but that's not much of a surprise. It would be nice if instead Chirac said he is joining the war on terror,and Hezbollah is a terrorist organization. But it's a good start in the right direction for France anyway. This is a story of environmentalism gone wrong. Here in Minnesota we have an area in the Northern part of the state called the Boundry Waters Canoe Area. It's an area known for it's tranquility,and beauty. It borders the Canadian/Minnesota border. It has the best fishing in the entire state,and gives people an opportunity to see wild animals that are not likely to be seen in other parts of the state. Moose,bear,bobcats,and a huge list of other common animals that can be seen in their natural habitat. There are no gas powered motors allowed in the BWCA. And you have to hike in from portages so no cars are allowed in the area either.A way to keep the water and air pure,and clean. And the water there truly is crystal clear. I would'nt even think twice about drinking water from there without boiling it. It is really that clean. Well in 1999 a windstorm blew down millions of trees. State officials wanted to have a logging company come in during the winter months when the water would be frozen,and take those fallen trees out of the area. When trees first fall there is no chance of fire because the wood is still wet,and hard to burn. But after it sits for a time the wood drys,and becomes easily burnable. That's just common sence. Everyone should know that. So it would have been a win/win situation for the state of Minnesota. The logging company would have had to pay the state to take the wood,and the fallen trees would not become a fire hazzard in the future. Well the environmentalist just about went nuts when the logging companys started giving bids to the state for the loggong rights. The logging companys were portrayed as evil,greedy big business who just wanted to slash and destroy the BWCA. And the environmentalists claimed the fallen trees would not become a fire hazzard....WHAT! Anyone who knows anything about wood knew they were wrong. And many of us said wait until we have a heatwave up there. Those trees will go up. Well last August due to a lighting strike a fire started and burned 1335 acres of woods with a fire fighting cost of $2.23 million dollars. Well this has been a dry hot past 30 days.and we now have another fire in the BWCA. So far it's only destroyed 30 acres of woods,and fire fighters have'nt been to worried about it spreading at a rapid rate due to the fact that now humidity has come up quite a bit and that should help slow the fire. However they are worried about the winds.Ranging anywhere from 15 to 30 miles an hour. That could kick it up at any time. Now the point is that if the environmentalist would have just shut their fat mouths and left it up to experts we would'nt be haveing these problems. I don't have a problem with environmentalists. As a matter of fact I think we need them. What we don't need are the ones who think they are smarter then professionals. They did'nt want these big logging trucks driving up there because it would have polluted the air with exhaust.it would have polluted the water when the vehicles would have driven across the frozen water. And it would have polluted air,and land with gas operted machinery to cut the trees. So what do you think would have hurt the land more. gas powered vehicles in the area for 3 to 6 months. Happy 4th of July

I thought a lot the past few days about what the 4th of July stands for. What it means to America in this day and age,and what it means to me. I think that for most of us we take Independence day for granted. It means that we in America are all equal,and free. When we are born we all are on the same level playing field. Now some might say that if your parents are wealthy you have a better chance of success then someone else. I say if your parents are wealthy you have a better chance of being wealthy,but that has nothing to do with success. There are many people who are given money because their parents are wealthy,and many of those people end up with nothing. And then there are many people who want the American Dream,and work,and scratch,and scrape to get it. And when their lives are over people look at them as an inspiration. Then there are others who are born with nothing,but natural ability. And that gives them the chance to make money as an athlete,actor,writer,etc.... Some use that chance to make the world a better place. Other to make there lives a better place,and those people usually also end up with nothing. This is still the greatest country on Earth.Sure we still have problems. But where else on Earth can you say you live in a country where every citizen is equal,and your government also wants to help other countries become a better place? If you look at all the other countries in the world the answer would be.....none. So no matter what you may hear in the media,and no matter what you may hear from those in this country who seem to hate everything. The American Dream is still alive,and well. And all of us who choose to are living it.

More common sence,and the global warming scare

Well this is the second part to my post on the global warming scare. The first time I ever heard the term global warming was when I was in high school. It was the same time I ever heard the terms acid rain,and heard about the hole in the ozone layer. Now at the time no one cared much about global warming. It was really just more of a theory of what could happen when the planet becomes more populated. No the real scare was acid rain,and the hole in the ozone layer. which we were told were both caused by air polution. We were told that acid rain would become so powerfull that crops would be destroyed,and we would all starve to death. I'm not making this stuff up. This is what was taught about enviromental issues in the 80's.And it was only a short matter of time that if we did'nt do something we were all doomed. Guess what....it never happened. The fish are still alive,and the crops don't have big holes eaten in them from the rain storm last weekend. But the biggest ecological shake up of the 80's was the hole in the ozone layer. So let's talk about how the hole happened. Or so I was taught it happened. O.K. people driving cars,aerosol spray cans,and big industrial plants all put pollution into the air. The polluted air then started to deplete the ozone layer. We were told that one day we would actually destroy the ozone layer,and all the suns ultraviolet light that could get threw the ozone layer,and it would fry the planet like an egg. Well one day I'm watching the news,and low and behold scientists had discovered that there was now a hole in the ozone layer. Not it's gonna happen,but it did happen. I listened to the story,and followed every bit of info I could find about it for years. Now let's move ahead to 1992. My roommate at the time was a college student,and we somehow got onto the subject of the hole in the ozone layer. So I tell him o.k. if there is a hole in the ozone layer why is it somewhere over the antarctic (which is where scientists claimed it was) where there is no population for thousands of miles. Why would'nt it be over someplace with heavy air pollution like. Los Angeles,Chicago,New York,etc..?So he thought about it for a while. And said it's probably because the jet streams carry the pollution to other parts of the world. So I said,o.k. If that's the case the why is the hole in the ozone layer stationary? The earth moves. The jet streams move. The clouds that carry the pollution move. But the hole in the ozone layer moves perfectly at the same speed as the Earth's rotation. So the hole will allways be perfectly over the same spot of the unpopulated antarctic? Come on it's just not believable. Then I said now think about this. The Ozone layer in invisible. So how can they tell if there is a hole in it? So he said well maybe they invented some type of equiptment that can see it. So scientists developed a piece of machinary that can now see things that are'nt visable? And then they discovered that there is a hole in something that can't be seen? Then he started to get mad because I had discredited science with common sence. He said well why would the scientists say it's true if it's not? I said why would'nt they? These people are making a living off of government grants. If the government gave me a check to research the existance of leprechauns for the next 5 years. You'd see something on the news about the "possible" existance of leprechauns.And then I'd giggle like hell when I get another check for another 10 years of research. Well about 5 years later I ran into that old roommate who was still in college,and he brought up our conversation about the hole in the ozone layer. I started laughing because he still was thinking about it 5 years later,and I told him yeah I remember. And he said well one of my college professors told me you're right. The hole in the ozone layer was all b*llsh*t. We actually studied it in class,and he said it was just a scare tactic to get people to start conserving energy,and fuel.(sound familar?) So if you want to belive that driving a car that runs off of french fry oil is somehow better for the inviroment then one that runs off gas. Or you wanna believe that the reason that the Earth is warming is because of car exhaust. (which by the way if that's the caes why don't we all turn on our air conditioners,and open all our doors,and windows.If we all did it we could reverse global warming) Or you want to believe that animal flatulence is warming the planet. In my last post I mentioned how the left would try to discredit the arrest of the Miami 7,and sure enough on Monday I read the article by Washington Post Columnist Richard Cohen. So I'll just make the most obvious. Here he writes " lack of explosives, weapons or vehicles." The 9-11 highjackers did'nt have weapons or explosives either jackass! But they killed thousands of people in one day with just one good plan. So quit being mad because the Government caught terrorists,and for once in your life actually be glad we caught someone before people died.Now on to someone who does'nt make me so mad I want to throw a cup of hot grease on him....Al Gore. He rarely makes me mad. Usually he makes me laugh. I've never seen someone so stupid who's just amazed with his own brilliance. This guy really does think he's a scientist. Now some scientist have agreed with his theory of how Global warming is affecting us all. While other's have said there is no proof of global warming caused by what we are doing. We live on a planet that is allways changing. Do I believe the temperature's are changing? Yes. Do I think we caused it?...NO! Now if you're a sandle wearing hippie you may ask yourself how can I say we have'nt caused it if I believe it's happening? Well Millions of years ago our planet went through a traumatic change. You may have heard about it. It was called the ice age. Is'nt it all to possible that we are now at the tail end of that global cooling cycle? Let's take a look at a place called Greenland. Greenland's surface is 81% covered in ice. How can a place called Greenland be covered in ice? Because when European settlers first went to Greenland it was covered in green rich farmland. And Greenland was very warm beacuse of what was called the Medieval warm period. (sound Familar) well somewhere around the 15th century contact with Europe was lost due to the fact that the settlers were whipped out by famine caused by the "little ice age" which is why Greenland is not a plush green farmland any longer. Now how can that be if it was'nt because of mankind? Well we have this strange force in the universe you may have heard of. It's called the sun. Now the sun is a giant ball of gas that is on fire. Sounds crazy I know,but this is the one thing that all scientists agree on is that the sun does in fact exist. Now beacuse the sun is a giant ball of gas sometimes it burns long,and steady,and sometimes it has huge flares which give off more heat. Then it goes back to burning at a steady pace again. Right now as we speakGreenland is again thawing due to a warming trend. But it could'nt be from the sun. No.Thank god Al Gore is on the case to tell us that it's because of cars,and cow flatulence. Now I don't know if Gore believes the cow flatulence theory,but lot's of eco-nuts do. Now they think you're brilliant! Now I've lived in Minnesota all my 36 years. And I've seen the fact that the past 15 years just have'nt been as cold as a normal Minnesota winter should be. I would say that the average temperature in the winter has changed as much as 5 degree. Why has'nt it changed at all in the summer. Actually so far this summer has been a bit cooler then normal I would say. But if global warming is actually taking place then that could'nt happen. If we are becoming a giant greenhouse like the theory says the summer months should be getting hotter. Heck the southern states closer to the equator Texas,Lousianna,Arizona...etc should by now all be wastelands.They should be having temperatures close to 120 consistantly. Only the cold places are warming,and only during the winter months. So is'nt it at all possible that our planet is either in a warming trend like it has happened other times in the history of the planet? Or our planet is finnaly becoming what it once was before the Ice age billions of years ago. Go study the history of the planet during the times of Dinosaurs. The Dinosaurs lived in tropical climates. They could not live through a winter. Yes tropical climates like.....North Dakota,South Dakota, Montana. Come this January call someone in Minot North Dakota,and ask them how tropical it is. But somehow billions of year ago Dinosaurs lived there. It's getting late so I'm gonna wrap this up,but I will be back with some more about this.And about the big 80's eco scares the hole in the ozone layer,and acid rain. Another boot in the ass of terrorism! Terrorists caught in early stages!

For anyone who's been under a rock today. Seven people were arrested Thursday in connection with the early stages of a plot to attack Chicago's Sears Tower and other buildings in the U.S. In Miami Florida. Now the reports are that the plans were only in the discussion phase. That the individuals involved are mostly American citizens who claimed to be Muslims,and were trying to recruit new members. They lived in a warehouse where neighbors claimed they did military exercises,and patrolled their building at night. Now according to reports they had no link to Al-Quida. However by coincidence many of the 9-11 hijackers had ties to Florida,and lived and trained in the area. I also found it interesting that a local man named Xavier Smith who attends the local United Christian Outreach said the men would often come to the church and ask for water. So someone who hates christians will still lower themselves to ask for water? If I were in a desert (after global warming consumes us all) and I ran into Al Gore with a full canteen I don't think I'd ask him. But that's just me I guess. So today was a great day in the war on terrorism here in America. Now for my prediction on how the left will handle this news. It will be one of three ways. The conspiracy therists will say that Bush planted the story to get his pole numbers up.(That's what the Cindy Sheehan supporters will come up with) Now the intelligent side of the left wingers will instead try to discredit what happened,and say things like"these were just a bunch of confused kids" and "They were'nt really terrorists...just wanna be terrorists" Mark my words you will hear those two phrases on some news show withen the next week. And withen a a week or so John Kerry or Howard Dean will say this is further proof we need to get our military out of Iraq,and back here to fight the war on terrorism at home......DON'T DOUBT ME ON THIS! Well it's been over two months since I posted so let's do a quick update on what's been going on with me,and where I've been.About two months and a half months ago my wife,and I were told that we were ok'd for financing on the house we have been leasing. Sounds great right.....well the house is finally ours,but we went thru hell,and back with the finance company to get things done. I can't mention the company,because I don't want to get sued with the type of things I have to say about them. But we'll just say it's an internet company you've probably seen advertised on television. We thought what the heck let's give these guys a try.A very disorganized bunch of people. We finally had to tell them if we didn't close by last Wednesday forget it we're not going thru with it.Well that finally got them in action. Normally this is fishing season for me,but I have'nt even bought a license yet this year.Mainly because I have arthritis in my wrist that has been bothering me for the past year. Very painfull! I wish I knew more Democrates. They would probably give me some money for my pain. But since I don't I guess I'll just keep working for a living.Well anyway that wraps up my update for what's been going on the past couple months. Keep checking back. Immigrant or criminal?

Immigration has been all over the t.v.,and papers for about the past month. But seems to have come to a boil this past week. Now allmost all of us in this country have came here from immigrants. I don't believe the argument is that we don't want more immigrants here in America. The situation is that we don't want someone coming into this country illegally. for many reasons. One if we can't control who comes into this country, how can we control if someone is wanted for crimes in there own country? And two if someone is in this country illegally how can they be protected by the rights that are offered to all U.S. citizens? The Democratic party is trying to twist this thing into a racial devision. Saying if your against Hispanic immigrants it's because you're racist. So let me tell you all a story you may have heard before. There was a farmer in Texas who owned an Orange grove in the 1970's who would bring in illegal immigrants ever year to work in his grove,and at the end of the season he would kill them and bury them in a mass grave. That way he did'nt have to pay them a dime,and there was no way for him to get caught because no one but him knew they were there. Well at some point a ranch hand who worked for him got feelings of guilt,and turned himself in and told the whole story. Now if these people would have been here legally someone would have been a paper trail. There is also the argument that Americans won't do the work that illegal immigrants will. My dad is semi retired these days,but for 6 months out of the year he works for a farmer who hires LEGAL immigrants. It's hard manual labor and the immigrants who do it are hard working people who bust their tails. The Farmer goes to great lengths to make sure he is only hiring legal immigrants,and from time to time someone who is illegal who slips thru with a fake ss# and or working papers .Now he could hire just illegal workers,and pay them less money . So the argument that illegal do the work others won't is just a lie. The fact is illegals will do the work for less money because they have no choice. If your here illegally there is no one to run to for help. No one to complain to if you're taken advantage of. Is this what the Democratic party wants? People working for 12 hours a day,and $2.00 an hour? What we really need is to speed up the process for those who want to come here,and work legally. Not slave labor! This is the greatest country in the world. Of course people want to come here. But they don't want to be taken advantage of by greedy business owners. But the democratic party wants to paint it that we don't want hispanics here because we're racist. And of course if you want a chance in this country,and someone tells you ....hey these people don't want you here because of the color of your skin..you might believe them. So if you're and immigrant who's reading this,and your here legally or illegally. Make no mistake we want you here. We want you to live the American Dream as well. But we want you here legally for the sake of our countries security,and the your own protection. The Angry American

Today I am going to tackle,and give my opinion on the hottest topic around today it seems...GAY MARRIAGE. So if you are one to get offended by things easily leave now. Also keep in mind that these are my opinions,and I have the right to express them just like anyone else in this country does. Now as a republican I am labled a homophobe before I even state my opinion. And also I know some republicans who think I can't be a republican if I feel the way I do. The biggest question is should marriage be strictly between one man,and one woman? Well I agree with that. However on the other side of the coin there was a time in this country when interacial marriage was illegal in many parts of this country. That time was'nt really all that long ago either. People felt that mixing the races was an abomination to god. (Sound familar) Now I will agree it says in the bible that gay relations are forbiden. Now I'm not a expert on the bible. But the places I find things pertaing to homosexual relations is in Leviticus 20:13 " 'If a man lies with a man as one lies with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must be put to death; their blood will be on their own heads"and Leviticus 18:22 "'Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman; that is detestable".But do we follow the letter of the law when it comes to the bible? Here's what it says in Leviticus 19:27 " 'Do not cut the hair at the sides of your head or clip off the edges of your beard" Leviticus 19:28 " 'Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. " In Leviticus 11 there are many references to unclean animals that we shold not eat for they are unclean. Including Rabbit,Pig, any animal that lives in the sea that does not have fins or scales Which is a lot of seafood. So my point is if we ignore these other messages in the bible, why are we so adament that we do not allow gay marriage? I mean if your only argument on gay marriage is the bible then it's pretty hypocriticle to not follow the other parts. I've also heard the argumant that gays choose that lifestyle,and if they want to get married they should change there lifestyle. Now I want you to ask yourself a question. Do you know anyone who was a heterosexual who changed there minds,and starting living as a homosexual? I don't. However I have two cousins who are gay,and I knew from the time they were little kids that they were gay. They just never carried themselves as someone who was heterosexual. Maybe that sounds like a bigoted thing to say,but I was right on my estimation. My one cousin is a about 5 years older then me,and I remember as a little kid knowing that he was gay. So when he came out of the closet,and my mom told me I was like yeah no kidding. I have never seen one piece of evidence that homosexuality is something that is chosen. Think about it why would someone CHOOSE to be a social outcast who may have their entire family turn their back on them? Now it may sound like I support Gay marriage. But I do believe that marriage should be between one man,and one woman. However I think it should be left up to each state. Not a state supreme court decision,but a vote by the people of each state. You don't hear about people being arrested for poligamy in Utah,and we all know it's allowed in certain parts of the state. And the poligamists in that state are people who are very religous. So who are we to say that gay marriage is an abomination, and is a sin against god when we allow poligamy? So in closing I will say this. I believe that marriage is a sanctuary between one man,and one woman,but it's not my place to judge anyone. So it should be left up to the people of each state to decide what they want for their community. Not left up two a few lawyers, and judges who can be influenced by outside forces to decide what's best for everyone else. And I also don't think anyone opposed to gay marriage is a hate monger. They are just someone who feels strongly either because of religous or strong personal feelings that marriage is defined by "one man and one woman" To me this is one of those subjects where both sides are right. It seems everytime I click on the news I have to watch some celebrity complain about their country. Or give their two cents about a conspiracy theory. George Clooney who I think is a great actor has decided that rather then put out good films he'll just put out political garbage. Everyone made a big deal about the fact that he was nominated in so many categories at the Oscars this year. So lets take a look at both of his films this year. First there was Good Night,and Good luck. Directed by,and co-written,and co-starring Clooney. It's about Edward R Murrow battling evil republican senator Joseph McCarthy. Sounds like a good story.....if it would have been more fact based it probobly would have been. We've all heard about McCarthyism,and how he was paranoid about the communist threat. What we seldom hear about is that years later when files were unsealed 98% of all government employees who were questioned about having communist ties. DID have communist ties. And many of them actually sold secrets to the Soviet Government. Not every single government employee was questioned. Just those who it was thought had communist ties. And the film also paints Murrow out to be a fighter who brought down the Evil McCarthy. In reality McCarthy was pretty much destroyed by the time Murrow picked up on the story. And most media outlets had quit following the McCarthy story. Murrow just put the final nail in the coffin. Next there was Syriana. About a C.I.A. Agent who becomes disgusted with the U.S. relations with the Arab countries. Clooney was nominated for best actor. There are many points about how "big oil" is the evil entity behind it all. Clooney was praised for these two films as master pieces, and the media pilled praise on him for being so brave to tackle these topics. Do you know what the media,and Hollywood never mentions about these two films,and what they both have in common? They both BOMBED in the theaters. Good Night,and Good Luck did have moderate success,and will probably make a profit when it get's on video,and dvd. But Syriana did'nt even stay in the theaters for more then a couple months And I doubt will even turn a profit when it hits the video market. So Mr.Clooney if you want to continue making movies that bomb just keep making your political thrillers. And Hollywood will love you for it. But sooner or later the studio big wigs will quit funding you agenda since there is no money in it for them. I have an Idea....Why don't you,and Micheal Moore right a script about how 9-11 was a Republican conspiracy against the American people. That should put the final nail in the coffin of your carrer. Hi Everybody. It's been so long since I posted.Just have'nt been angry I guess. Ha Ha. This has been a strange winter for me. It's very rare for me to get sick. Maybe once a winter for a couple days. But this winter I had a horrible cold for about a week,and the flu for about a week. And just a few weeks apart from each other. So my vacation ,and sick days are all burned up until August,and my in-laws are coming for a week in June or July....so what to do. I guess I'll try to put some money away,and just take a week off anyway. All is well around here other then that. As some of you know Angel,and I have wanted to start our own business over the past few years. We still have the website up. ( www.banditwholesale.com ) But retail space is very expensive,and the fact that one of us would have to quit our jobs to work there would be hard as well. So I'm thinking about just doing the flea market circut. It's cheaper,and seems to be a good market. For $25.00 you can rent a space for 2 days with fairly high traffic. It's a very sad day here in Minnesota. Minnesota Twins legend,and baseball Hall of fame member Kirby Puckett passed away at the young age of 45. He was taken of life support monday afternoon after suffering a stroke on Sunday. It can't be put into words how much Kirby meant to the people of Minnesota over the years. For myself I grew up as a Twins fan,but kind of became a fair weather fan after Rod Carew left the team for the California Angels, because of problems with team ownership. But Kirby made me a true fan again. From his very first game as a rookie you knew there was something special about Kirby Puckett. He got four hits in his very first game in the big leagues.Only the 9th player in history to accomplish this feat. In 1985 he hit his first carrer home run a three run homer.In 1986 he transformed to a power hitter after developing his "leg kick" and hit 31 homers that year. He batted .332 in 1987, and went on to win his first world series that year. 1988 was the year of Kirby Puckett in which he batted an incredible .356 and also got his 1000th hit.Only one of four players in history to do so in his first five seasons! In 1989 Kirby tied a major league record when he hit four doubles in one game in a 10 to 8 win. The next night Kirby hit 2 more doubles. That same year Kirby Signed the biggest contract in baseball history (at the time) in which he would be paid $9 million over three years. But most remeber Kirby for the 1991 World Series. Most notably game 6 the Twins were down in the series 3 games to 2. In the locker room that night Kirby told his teammates jump on my back I'm driving the bus tonight. Kirby made a leaping catch at the warning track to rob the Atlanta Braves of a run,and in the 11th inning he homered to force the seventh and final game. The next night The Twins captured their 2nd World series. In 1996 Kirby woke up with blurred vision,and found he had glaucoma in his right eye. In 1997 In a game in which I attended The Twins honered Kirby with a 90 minute pregame show in which the Twins retired his #34. In 2001 he was named to the baseball hall of fame with over 80% of the votes in his first year on the ballot. He was the third youngest player ever named to the Hall.He had a lifetime batting average of .318 was named to the all-star team 10 consecutiove years,won six golden gloves. led the league in batting average in 1989. Led the league in hits in 1987,1988,1989,and 1992. and led the league in rbi's in 1994. Everyone in Minnesota has a fond memorie of Kirby Puckett about the things he did on the field. Off the field he was very involved in the make a wish foundation,and every year held a pool tournament to help raise money for children with cancer. People in Minnesota thought of Kirby as a member of the family. Even if you never met him you just loved him. We loved him,and he loved us. He proved that by taking less money ($5 Million less) and stayed with the Twins instead of signing with the Boston Red Sox. Kirby said he would be a Twin for life,and stayed with us. He is survived by a fiance,and his two children. Touch em all Kirby Puckett....it's time to go home. We love you.

It's been a while since I've been able to post. Mainly due to the fact that I was completly wiped out with the flu for about 6 days. And this may seem like a bit of a strange post for me since it has nothing to do with politics,but I just had to say something about the passing of Don Knotts. The Andy Griffith show is by far one of my favorite T.V. programs. Much like the Beverly Hillbillies It's from a time that is long gone,but the humor stands the test of time. It was never crude,racist,sexist or in anyway offensive. But everytime I watch a classic episode I can't help but laugh. Even If I've allready seen it 100 times which is usually the case with any Andy Griffith episode. Let's face it everyone has used the term "Barney Fife" at some point to explain an over zealous police officer or a security gaurd. The character of Barney Fife was never meant to be a main character of the show. He was supposed to be a supporting character who made an appearence every now and then. Like Floyd the Barber , Otis the Drunk or Goober. But the Barney character took over the screen the first time he ever appeared,and he became a regular. In my opinion once Don Knotts left the show it was never the same. Still a good show, but something was allways missing without Barney. So Don Knotts thank you for makeing me laugh for so many years,and may you rest in peace.........(Did you notice in the picture who's in the back of the squad car?)

Why I hate the media so much....

For people who don't know me well I probobly sound like a conspiracy therist when it comes to the media. And even some people who know me don't understand why I hate it so much. Well my distrust of the media started a long time ago, but the reason I grew to hate it so much can be summed up in two words....hurricane Katrina. Never have I seen such horible reporting in my life. My wife is from a town called Belle Chasse Louisiana. It's about a half hour to forty five minutes south of New Orleans. Her parents,her brother's family,and aunts,uncles, and grandparents all live in the area south of New Orleans,and her Uncle is a New Orleans police officer. So needless to say we were glued to the television news for weeks trying to get information for her parents who were stuck sleeping in their truck for a time,and also living out of hotels and resturants for a time. From what I saw 90% of the media coverage of New Orleans was wrong,and in most cases just out,and out made up or the truth was stretched very very far. For instance one of the biggest storys that was reported was that a supply helicopter was shot at. What happened was that when the helicopter was coming in a news crew member heard what sounded like a shot. So they reported that someone was firing,and the chopper crew turned around,and left without dropping supplys. But local authorities at the scene said there was no gun shots at the Superdome,and they have no idea where the report of gunshots came from. We heard many stories from the media of the horrible things that went on inside the Superdome. Rapes,murders,and robberies were all reported by the media about the superdome. But there was not one single crime reported to authorities that accured inside the Superdome. As a matter of fact the Superdome was one of the safest places to be. There was a makeshift jail set up in one part of,and it was set up as a makeshift police station. Also remeber the scenes of the filthy bathrooms? The media reported that people were being forced to urinate,and deficate in these bathrooms that were allready overflowing with human waste. When in fact there was only two bathroom inside the superdome that were not usable. A men,and a womens right next to each other on one side of the building. The media tried to paint Katrina as a scene from the Apocalypse. That everyone stuck in New Orleans was a murderer ,rapist or thug. Yes there were looters. Some stole because they needed some things to survive.Others because they could get away with it. Unfortunately that's what some people do when they might not get caught. Were there rapes,and murders? I'm sure there was. Again a small group of people who took advantage of a horible situation. But did we see the storys of people helping their neighbors? No...,but that happened as well. What we saw was the death and destruction. And the saddest part was that some of what we were told never even happened. Why would the media do something like that? To make people like myself,and others who have friends or family so mad that we demand the heads of those we feel were at fault. I can't put into words after finding out what was really going on down there how p*ssed off I was that the news outlets would do what they did for their own political reasons. The sleepless nights both my wife,and I spent. Because we thought what we were being told was the truth. We see the blind hypocrisy in the media everyday. The "News" coming from Iraq that paints our soldiers as murderous lunatics. The news media won't show a cartoon that depicts Mohummad, because they don't want to offend anyone. But they will show "new"video footage from Abu Ghraib that is three years old. Even after soldiers were court martialed for abusing prisoners. They have to continue the throwing this out there as current news. Why are'nt they afraid of offended Americans? So to the members of the media that report the truth...thank you! And for the other 99% of the media that belive this country would be better run as a communist republic,and will lie cheat and ruin peoples lives to do so..... I hope one day you have a loved one who is in the national spotlight who is abused by your pals in the "impartial" media. The Angry American

The whole Dick Cheney shooting situation seems to finaly be over. So now the libs will have to move on to the next topic to try to destroy the white house with. Another situation in which something was just blown out of proportion. Obviously The Vice President shooting someone is big news,and should be reported. But the way the media tried to turn this into a criminal act was disgusting. Who does the media think they are? That they are so important that the Vice President needs to alert them the first thing after someone is shot. Get over yourselves. You're not that important. And Cheney did nothing to try to keep this out of the media or hide from it. So what is the big deal? Why is it that the libs will accuse Bush of lying every chance they can, but when the media lies about something it's no big deal. What media lies? Well lets just mention the big ones over the past few years. How about Bush's forged military records released just before the election.....how about all the false reports from New Orleans during huricane Katrina.... What false reports from Katrina? Well as someone who has in-laws from that area I can tell you about lots of false reports. Which I will detail more tomorrow. What about the false reports of the miners who died a few months ago? These people will barbeque Cheney for an accidental shooting.....even when he takes the blame for it. But they treat Ted Kennedy as their guru. Ted Kennedy!!! A guy who drove off a bridge,and KILLED someone. Then ran away ,and hid from his responsibility . Before the Kennedy family called the police they called their lawyers,and the people who clean up messes for the family. Then those people contacted the authorities. And Teddy never even considered that woman who was still strapped in the car. He went to his hotel room and went to bed. The car was found the next morning when a 15 year old boy was getting ready to go fishing.But yet Dick Cheney is a horrible person for getting medical attention for his friend first. So before the man's family was told about it Cheney was supposed to alert the media? So they could quick throw it on the air,and the man's family could hear about it from CNN? So once again the libs have NOTHING to complain about. So I suggest you take your own advice....Move on! The Angry American

When will we capture Bin Laden?

I continue to hear the questions in the media why did we focus on Iraq when we did'nt finish the job with Bin Laden? And why are'nt we doing more to capture Bin Laden? When will we quit messing around in Iraq,and capture Bin Laden? Well if one looks at history the answer is....we may never capture Bin Laden. Look at recent history first off. I'm sure we all remember Eric Robert Rudolph? He was known as the Atlanta Olympics bomber,and was also responsible for bombings at a Birmingham Alabama abortion clinic that killed an off duty police officer. After the Atlanta bombings he was in hiding right here in the United States . He was on the F.B.I.'s 10 most wanted list,and hid in the mountains of North Carolina for 5 years. Even after massive searchs in the mountains very few clues turned up. He was arrested by a rookie police officer who found him digging thru a grocery store dumpster looking for food late one evening. After his capture Rudolph claimed F.B.I. Agents passed withen inchs of him while he hid,and watched them search. Then we have the Unabomber, who commited 16 attacks between 1978 and 1995. If it was'nt for his brother noticng that his letters matched the unabomber manifesto ramblings we may have never caught him. Now both of these men were both right here in the United States. Where local residents wanted them caught. Bin Laden is a different case all together. Locals look up to him as a great leader who attacked,and hurt the west. They will never give him up. We were very lucky to have ever captured Saddam Hussein,but he never expected us to take Baghdad as quickly as we did. By the time he would have fled the country it was to late. The Baghdad airport was taken,and he was stuck. With no place to go but a spider hole. And most of that country wanted him caught. (remember the celebrations) Do you remember how long it took for the allies to capture Hitler? We never captured Hitler....he killed himself instead. The military is doing all that is possible to capture Bin Laden, but history shows that as long as he stays in hiding the less of a chance we will ever catch him. My guess is one day we will find out that he was killed in a bombing,and burried in a unmarked grave years earlier. So instead of the media and liberals asking, when will we catch Bin Laden? Why don't they start asking, what can we do to support the war on terror? The Angry American

Budget recap. 3rd and final

Again this information can all be found on the internet thru government websites. Don't get it from some liberal media site. Most of this posts information can be found in the February 7th edition of the USA TODAY. It is simply their budget information. The Opinions are solely mine. First let's start with Education. Now the liberal media,and democratic polititions are up in arms about the so called "cuts" in education. The fact is the new budget calls for $56.8 billion. Now that is a 3.4 % decrease of what was made last year. Some of the programs being terminated are why the amount has gone down this year.These are programs the Department of Education deemed "failures" according to their website. However many program will see huge increases. Such as the Pell Grant Program. Which is for needy,and low income students. There will be a $12.7 Billion increase in Pell Grants. Which will help 59,000 more students then it did in 2006. Thats 59,000 Students who would'nt have gotten those grants last year.Bush will also once again push for the private school voucher program. Which contrary to media attention is not for rich people. The private school voucher program is only for low income children.Homeland Security.$55.1 billion increase. Including Adding 1500 new agents. and 2000 new border agents. Health and humane services gets a huge increase of 9.1% or $58 billion dollars. So once again Bush does much more for the poor then the media or Democrats will admit. Veterans will recieve a 5.2% increase at the Veterans administration.. Medical care for veterans will increase 8.1% to $33.2 Billion. Let's take a quick look at the overall economy for the year 2006. We keep hearing how the tax breaks are for the rich, but last year the economy increased tax reciepts 14.5 % the biggest jump in 24 years. So if we all have more money in our pocket we spend more. Which means more taxes. (Sales,luxery,etc...) and the White House predicts another increase of 6.1 % for 2007. That's about does it for the budget. If you really look at the 141 programs that are being either cut or terminated only a handfull are worth saving. Maybe 10 of the 141. The rest are government pork or big business welfare. And the social education programs that have been touched will be taken care of by other programs withen their own departments. 2007 budget breakdown part 2 program cuts

It's really kind of pointless to to talk about programs which recieved cuts from the government. Due to the fact that as a whole almost every single department will see an increase in spending this year.But the media likes to use the word "cut" as a way to insinuate the President is actually cutting money out of each department. This is completly false. However certain programs will recieve cuts so that more money can be given to different programs withen the same department.For instance if a program like State job training grants are reduced by $514 million it's because unemployment is down so there is'nt as big of a need for job training.So that $514 million will end up going to another program withen the department of labor. So don't believe the media or the democrat senators when it comes to the talk of budget cuts. Do the research for yourself it's all there on Government websites. So lets start with the DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE. Again I don't have the time to make a comment on each program (Remember I don't get paid for this) so I will pick out the major programs and high light them. The first is the Environmental quality incentives program, $270 million. I'm sure detractors will say that Bush is anti-environment,but let's look ata history of the program. And what it does according to the USDA website.The Environmental Quality Incentives Program (EQIP) was reauthorized in the Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (Farm Bill) to provide a voluntary conservation program for farmers and ranchers that promotes agricultural production and environmental quality as compatible national goals. EQIP offers financial and technical help to assist eligible participants install or implement structural and management practices on eligible agricultural land.This program was started by President Bush,and like most programs It takes a lot of money to implement new programs. Well it's not a new program any longer so the time has come for a reduction due to the fact that those first start up costs are over. The big one in the ag department is Market access program, $100 million. It's basicly a program set up for people to promote and market their farm product. Sounds great...only problem is the only way to qualify is to be a non-profit organization. I don't know many farmers who set out to be non-profit. In-house research, $123 million. Most research is now done outside the USDA or is done in partner with the USDA.State and private forestry, $100 million . According to the USDA forest service website http://www.fs.fed.us/ This will also allow the Forest Service authority to sell small tracts of forest land which would raise another $800 million for the forestry sevice. So that should more than offest that $100 million. Now lets move on to the DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE there are only 2 programs up for cuts. I'll take the biggest one Manufacturing extension partnership, $59 million. This is basicly a program in which a small or medium sized manufacturing business can use a consultant from the Department of Commerce.This program also recieves funds from State, Local,and private resources. So the little over $1 million each state would recieve from the Federal government won't make much of an effect. Now comes the part that is so surprising. The Media,and the Democrates in congress have been going nuts over the education cuts. So lets look at EDUCATION. There is only 4 programs recieving cuts for a total of $811 million. The biggest is the Perkins Loans Institutional Fund recall, $664 million. Now what is being done here is that Bush wants to recall all Perkins loans allready set for 2007. A Perkins loan is set up for low income students,and when the loan is repaid it is reissued for another low income student. So the Democrats will say that Bush is a racist only out for the wealthy. But remember Bush is setting aside $12.7 BILLION dollars for Pell Grants which are also set up for low income students. So now these low income students will recieve grants....not loans. Education as a whole will have a budget of $56.8 billion for 2007. Now that is a decrease of 3.4% from last year. However the programs that are being terminated account for the fact why the education budget is down this year. And most of the programs being terminated have been deemed "failures" by the department of Education According to their website. So the President was told it would be in the best interest to terminate those programs. But we know how the media,and democrats will twist this fact.Next is the DEPARTMENT OF ENERGY. Four programs for $886 million The biggest being Environmental management, $762 million .Here's Another one the libs will say "Bush is against the environment" This program was set up years ago as a way to clean up sites that particapted or contributed to, the research, development, or production of nuclear weapons and nuclear technology. A great program when it was started,but the cold war has been over for close to 20 years now,and most of the clean up is finished. So sooner or later thie program is bound to be reduced. And at some point I would assume it will completly disolved. Next up is HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES. Another one the Democrats are after Bush about. Saying he's taking programs away from the poor. Well guess what? They will get a increase of $58 Billion for a total budget of $700 Billion. A 9.1 percent increase. http://www.hhs.gov/ But lets look at the two programs which are seeing the largest reductions of financial aid. Social Services block grant, $500 million. The Social Services Block Grant (SSBG) funds States, territories, and insular areas for the provision of social services directed toward achieving economic self-support or self-sufficiency, preventing or remedying neglect, abuse, or the exploitation of children and adults, preventing or reducing inappropriate institutionalization, and securing referral for institutional care, where appropriate. In 2001 they recieved $1.725 Billion,and in 2002 $1.7 billion. It was a new program in 2001(by Bush) again this is a program that needed lots of cash for start up costs. Now that much just is'nt needed anymore. Health Resources and Service Administration- Children's Graduate Medical Education, $198 million. The Children's Hospitals Graduate Medical Education Payment Program (CHGMEPP) provides funds to children's teaching hospitals to support the training of pediatric and other residents in graduate medical education (GME) programs. Since Federal financial support of graduate medical education is extensively supported by the Medicare system, the CHGME program compensates for the disparity in the level of Federal funding for pediatric teaching hospitals versus other types of teaching hospitals. The Secretary of DHHS has delegated the authority for the administration of the CHGME payment program to Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), which redelegated it to the Bureau of Health Professions (BHPr). So basicly what this program does is pay for childrens hospitals to have a residency training program. Now people who complain that this is being cut are the same one who complain about health care costs. You can't have it both ways. Do you want rich doctors to have your money or not? HOMELAND SECURITY One program. Office of grants and training, $694 million. With Homeland Security getting a overall increase of $55.1 billion this program will no longer be needed with the new programs being implemented. HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT One program Public housing capital fund, $261 million. HUD will get a budget of 33.6 Billion dollars this year. So once again this program will get swallowed up by other HUD programs. DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR. Three program biggest is Bureau of Reclamation reductions, $127 million. The Bureau of reductions has been around since 1902. and basicly produces information for the public including data sets, web pages, audiovisual presentations, and published reports, including draft reports made available for public comment. Factors such as imminent threats to public health or homeland security, statutory or court-ordered deadlines. The department of interior will recieve a budget increase or $971.6 Million. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR. Three programs The biggest being State job training grants consolidation, $514 million. Another case of if the unemployment rate is down (4.7 %) then money can be used in other places. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. One program Amtrak, $394 million. Amtrak has been a money pit for the u.s. government. And sticking any more money into this program is a waste.The government should unload it to a private company for a song,and dance. I mean really why would you want to take a train across country for several days when you can fly there in a couple hours,and still fly cheaper then Amtrak. I can't express enough what a waste Amtrak is. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY. Two program for a total of $218 million.Biggest is Clean water state revolving fund, $199 million. This program will still operate on a budget of right around $4 billion. So don't believe the "Bush hates the environment" garbage. INTERNATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. Two programs for a total of $160 million. Let's look at both of them. Assistance for Eastern European democracy, $83 million and Assistance for the state of the former Soviet Union, $78 million. It's time both of these stand on their own 2 feet. Enough said. There is four other programs left so I'll take the biggest. NASA One program Aeronautics Mission Research Directorate, $160 million. NASA will still recieve a budget increase of $3.2 billion. That about does it for the second part of the budget breakdown. All my information is availible thru the internet. Just google it. Finaly the 2007 budget breakdown Part 1 Terminations

Everyday I read how the Bush administration is slashing the budget,and destroying social programs for the poor. Well here is a breakdown of what is really being done. Some grograms are being reduced while other are simply being terminated. I'll start with the programs being terminated. Most of the programs being terminated are progrmas that recieve very little funding to begin with. There is 88 programs slated for termination of those 88 programs 52 of them recieve $30 million or less from the federal government. many of them are less then $10 million. In my opinion most of these smaller programs are nothing more than government pork. Here are some of the bigger dollar programs that are being terminated,and what those programs do.I don't have time to list all programs over $30 million so I'm picking a few from each catagory. We'll start with the AGRICULTURE DEPARTMENT. The one the media seems to like the most is the Commodity supplemental food program. $107 Million.Includes low-income pregnant and breastfeeding women, other new mothers up to one year postpartum, infants, children up to their sixth birthday, and elderly persons at least 60 years of age who meet income eligibility requirements. According to a 2002 survey(The only one I could find) only 410,719 people across the country used this program.And if you use this prgram you can not use W.I.C. So the people who are using this will probobly just change over to w.i.c. The other big one is the Research and extension grant earmarks $196 million. This is a program that has been cut several times since 2002,and it has'nt affected anything by doing so. Why keep it around? Next is the COMMERCE DEPARTMENT The biggest program being terminated is the Advanced technology program, $79 million. This has been a troubled program from it's start in 1988. It's a program in which big business gets grants to research their own products. Congress passed legislation eliminating the program in 1995, but President Bill Clinton vetoed the bill. President Clinton again blocked the elimination of the ATP the following year, inducing Congress to try to reform the troubled program. After those reforms failed to fix the program, the House of Representatives voted in 2000, 2001, and 2002 to terminate the ATP, only to have the Senate restore funding each time in conference committee. Hopefully it's gone for good this time. A waste of money. Lets move on to the EDUCATION PROGRAMS. The first is the Educational technology state grants, $272 million. The primary goal of the Ed-Tech program is to improve student academic achievement through the use of technology in schools. It is also designed to assist students in crossing the digital divide by ensuring that every student is technologically literate by the end of eighth grade. With the way the computer world has changed over the past 10 years kids are much quicker at picking up on computers then it was when I was young. no more learnign about c:\prompt and other useless information.This is a program that was great in it's day,but just is'nt needed any longer. GEAR UP, $303 million. Here is another program the media,and democrats are using to say Bush is against the poor,and minorities. Totally untrue The bush Administration is adding 12.7 BILLION in pell grants this year and will help 59,000 more students then in 2006 So basicly the money saved in GEAR UP will be shifted to Pell grants.Vocational education state grants, $1,182 million. See my last explanation about Pell grants. Safe and Drug-Free Schools state grants, $347 million. The fact is these type of programs just don't work. Former President Reagan pushed many anti-drug school programs,and there are more students who admit to using drugs then there were 20 years ago. Why don't these programs work? Because they are set up by people who know nothing about drug addiction. They come up with posters that say things like "Get high on school sports" well the kid who hangs with the wrong crowd makes that into a joke. You need drug counselor who deal with kids to run these programs not polititions On to the ENERGY DEPARTMENT. nothing major here.but I'll talk about the biggest one Oil and gas research and development, $64 million. Now Democrats will complain that we are paying to much for gas,and that the oil companies are making to much profit. So here is a way to cut some corporate welfare from the oil companies. So stop complaining. HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAMS. The biggest is from the Community services block grant, $630 million. Sounds like lots of Americans will suffer? Nope. This is a program set up to help Indian tribes in all 50 states. Well with the fact that most tribes are now self supporting due to casinos this program has become a waste,and for smaller tribes that don't have casinos there are other programs to help them. Centers for Disease Control preventive block grant, $99 million. A program so states can set up education programs for whatever illness they want to educate poeple in. At less then $2 million dollars per state. Then you take out government employee salaries,and I think this money would be better spent on research.HOMELAND SECURITY. Office of grants and training, $229 million. The department is adding 55.1 Billion to the budget. So this program will just fall into another catagory. HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT. HOPE VI, $198 million. This is really a small amount when you see how much HUD recieves. I'm sure HUD will just transfer money around and continue to do the same thing. The HOPE VI Program, originally known as the Urban Revitalization Demonstration (URD), was developed as a result of recommendations by the National Commission on Severely Distressed Public Housing, which was charged with proposing a National Action Plan to eradicate severely distressed public housing. The Commission recommended revitalization in three general areas. DEPARTMENT OF INTERIOR. No projects over $30 million. So lets move on to the JUSTICE DEPARTMENT. Byrne justice assistance grants, $327 million. This is one of the few programs I hate to see cut. These grants provide financial support for law inforcement in various ways for many different programs. State Criminal Alien Assistance Program, $400 million. This program may sound like a big lose,but with 458.9 million being aet aside for border control,and another 2000 border agents being added.This should take care of most of the CAAP. DEPARTMENT OF LABOR. Migrant and seasonal farmworkers training program, $79 million. The NFJP provides funding to help migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their families achieve economic self sufficiency by offering supportive services to them while they work in agriculture or by helping them to acquire new skills for jobs offering better pay.Most of these problems can also be taken care of by the Unemployment Office. So they will most likely take over those programs. DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. There are two programs listed for termination. National defense tank vessel construction program, $74 million,and my favorite. Railroad rehabilitation financing loan program There were no funds for the RHFLP at all last year. So it's being scrapped all together.ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AGENCY Unrequested projects, $277 million. This was a very hard one to research. I can understand why it's being scrapped. This program is set up so the EPA has extra cash laying around for whatever they feel they need it for. Most of it goes to test water,but it is hard to find out why the water was tested to begin with. And some funds were used to increase security under the homeland security act.. A very confusing program. That ends it for the terminations. I'm trying me best to get this budget post finished,but I have been getting my tail kicked the past couple days by the common cold. I think I slept like 18 hours today.But thank god for Alka Seltzer plus cold medicine,and orange juice. I feel much better now then I did about 12 hours ago. I thought I'd mention this recent comment from Harry Reid. "Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., said Bush's speech failed to lay out a comprehensive strategy to fight terrorists.
"As is too often the case with this president, the rhetoric does not match the reality," Reid said. "The fact is this White House has committed a series of national security mistakes that have made America less secure." Does anyone have any idea what this fool is talking about? He is refering to a speech the President made about a foiled terrorist attack from in 2002. I'm sure we've all heard the phrase "Islam is the religion of peace" And I'm sure that many many muslims are peacful loving people,but why is it that all we see on television are the fanatical extremists? We've all seen the images of burning embassys everyday for the past few days. Why? Because someone posted a cartoon that people found offensive! There were many cartoons published that depicted Muhammad. Some that painted him as a terrorist,and some that painted him as a man of peace. But it does'nt matter. No depiction of Muhammad is allowed. Even those that paint him in a possitive light. So what should someone do when they're offended? Some have protested peacefully,and asked for an aplogy. But the majoity have decided to riot,and burn those who dare offend them. So when I see a cartoon in the editorial section that depicts a Catholic priest as a sexual deviant should I burn down the newspaper? At least once a week a read an article that slanders the Catholic church in the newspaper. I have'nt been a Catholic for many years now,but it still bothers me due to the fact that MOST Catholic priests are good people. But I also understand that because the Catholic church made so many mistakes with the priest scandals that many people are angered. But just because I'm offended by a story about priests or a cartoon about Jesus I'm not going to slash,and burn. Is that what a religion of peace does? Hell we've even heard Osama Bin Laden himself say in his last interview that Islam is the religion of peace. And he wants a truce with the U.S. Maybe if he would have asked for a truce before his henchmen flew airplanes into buildings we could have worked something out. Look at all the countries that have had problems with muslim extremists since we did on 9-11. Italy,Russia,Brittan,Africa,and not to mention all the suicide bombers in countries that are allready mostly Muslim. If I'm standing next to someone I consider a friend and they tell me that they are going to burn down someones house because they were offended by something someone else said. You can guarantee I will do everything in my power to stop them. So if Islam is truly the religion of peace it's time they stand up against the tyrants who kill in the name of Allah,and do whatever is in their power to stop them. It's time to show the world that you truly are the religion of peace? Until next time. I'm the Angry American

Well I wanted to start by introducing myself a bit. I'm a 35 year old married with one step child blue collar working stiff. I work in the printing industry,and have since I was 16. I believe that all of us as Americans are equel. Black,White, Hispanic, Oriental, Native American,and any other group I may have left out. What ever religion you come from is fine with me. Many of the people I work with feel the same way I do about religion,race,and politics. But why is it every time I turn on the t.v. I have to hear that if I'm republican I'm a racist,sexist,homophobe who hates everyone who does'nt believe the same as me? I used to be someone who voted for members of both politcal partys. I voted for Bill Clinton during his first run for office. But I saw something happen to the Deomcratic party during Clinton's first term,and it just seems to get worse as time goes by. I see them saying this is what we stand for,and if your not with us your a racist, intolerent,bigot, and we will do everything in our power to destroy you. They have become a party of extremist. Who try and scare old people,and minorities with lies. My hope is that one day the Democratic party will will return to the days of F.D.R. and will once again be willing to help bring this country together. Rather then continue and try,and split it down the middle. Well thats it for my first post,and I will try and post at the very least once a week,but hopefully two or three times a week.
